@@DETERMINOLOGY It means the only important effect is the second one. Get 10% more damage and be damaged 10% less. Since the effect is static, leveling up the gem for zero DPS builds is useless.

Hey man I have been looking through your build guides for the Wizard build for the 4 man group comp and I can't find one. Maybe I am just blind but do u have any suggestions on what me and my friends could run? Also would it be possible to sub the Wizard for a WD and if possibly will a normal SB Mundunugu's build work? Thanks a lot your guides are amazing and as a group of friends who started playing in S20 for the first time they have been a tremendous help.

i came here looking for a reason why you dont use wall of man as the shield instead and i didnt find it has anybody actually thought of that?, also instead of the boots and bracers i use the gaurdians set for more survivability and just let epiphinany and dashing strike be my mobility to get through mobs, but i guess this might not work at higher than GR100's, also i use lefebve's with cyclone strike (ice damage rune) to reduce my damage even further and pulls them in closer and put vigilance into my kanais (i use hellfire ammy with unity passive cause i dont have flavour of time yet). i also use serenity with the tranquility rune to replace the mantra of healing for the shield buffs and use mantra of salvation with agility i dunno why ive found this to be so much better for me i just need to work on getting primals i also like the idea of having intelegence on the gear instead ill try that

This is first time in last 2 season that someone made a guide for a monk , since they introduce pixel version for a meta (last 2 season) and this season z monk version of pixel one. I want to say thank you. You are the one I followed now for your high quality video. I have one question: We are playing a group meta without using discord. We have monk, pull barb, bazooka and Impale RGK. I knew most of monk use Piercing "Trident rune". But I was told not to use that as we do not have voice, we cannot synchronize well and therefore, I may break the group of mobs and knock the mobs off the air which causing bazooka to fail. I was told to use "Strike from Beyond" to tigger Strongarm and also the cold effect will give my DH RGK 10% more CHC. I am not familiar with other class, I only play monk and bazooka myself, do you have any comments from your experience.

I have never heard of strike from beyond, so I'm not sure how or if that rune works. The only thing you need to do with piercing trident is make sure to do only do it right before the meteor, which is always on a 32 second timer. Even without voice you can get a feel for how long that is. If I were you, I'd still take trident and just get a feel for the timing

You can also notice once the wizard is in human form and starts to run out thats a sign hes about to hit "usually" you can hit Deadly a couple of times just try not to spam to hard just incase as well.

Great guide. A few questions if you don't mind. Thanks! 1. You mentioned the interaction between the Freeze on Tsunami & the Barb's Ground Stomp. Does that mean I should also avoid Freeze/Stun/Slow/etc as secondaries on all pieces which can get it (and where I don't already have globes)? 2. Why no All Resist on some pieces, such as Shield? 1000 Int = 100 All Resist, but this can roll 130 All Resist, right? 3. Any value in adding Life per Second in place of Vit if you've got enough paragons to make up for it, for the synergy with Mantra of Healing? 4. Can you explain why both the Barb & zMonk are running Strongarms? Isn't that redundant? 5. Wouldn't Block chance be useful on shield? 6. For secondary on Bracers & Chest (assuming I already have Globes on chest). What's more important, Reduced Damage from Melee, or from Ranged? 7. Any target numbers for Life, Armor, or All resist, or is it really just a case of what gives the most Toughness? 8. Are there any visual cues to tell when the Wizard is about to use Meteor, or is the only way to be on comms?

Hi, how CoZer spam his abilities? Is he using numlock or macros? To the gameplay, how can i recognize if wizard is going to hit in order to switch to deadly reach? thanks

sanjuro you can use either bum lock or macros. I think CoZeR uses macros. You’ll know when to deadly reach by when the wizard comes out of archon, it’s about 8ish seconds after that happens

Hey @Raxxanterax, I have a time-sensitive question for you. Is this exactly the same for S19 or is there something different? Just started a monk and I don't care about any other type of builds except ZMonk, but I can't find anything good for 150 clears S19 Zmonk. I just need a D3 planner or something like that that's up to date. Which one would YOU recommend me to use? I trust you when it comes to D3 that's all. No one else. lol. Thank you very much!

hi vincent, 99% of this build is what I use today on my zmonk. this season since the crusader is the RGK, we have to take nemesis bracers b/c they can't take it in their build. because we take nems, we don't need deadly reach piercing trident. so just drop that for serenity and spam it. Everything else here works perfectly.

Is there an explanation why attack speed is important for the zmonk? Does it provide more healing with faster attacks?

yes, from your epiphany soothing mist. it also helps you keep your spirit at max to keep spam healing, and also it helps proc your life on hit from gear

You got it. Sand shaper throws fireballs that have to hit the skeletons, so everyone has to stand on them, and Perdition will teleport if anyone is outside his hitbox, so just give him a big hug

I don't typically play with a LON32/Bazooka Wiz and typically only run GRs in the 110-125 range, would it be better to just run the older set up with Slanderer/Little Rogue Lefebvre/Cyclone Strike?

Cyclone Strike + Lefebvre is taken when you are the one in charge of gathering the mobs. In this set up, the barb is what pixel stacks everything. That's how you can determine which you should use

Great vid! Ive been using the zmonk for quite sometime, and particularly this season, im having rough time wit epiphany teleporting me everywhere, like even to the most ridiculous situations when I have to stagger my way back to my party.. it pisses me off, mostly when it happens.. do you have like an effective way to control this?? cuz its teleporting me the fu.ck away from my people even when I dont want to - thanks

The best way I've found to combat this is to put your mouse cursor in the dead center of the pack. You'll move a bit, but after that I can usually hold still. It's annoying though!

Awesome zmonk video guide. Love all your guide videos. For attempting GR120+, what are the breaking points for attack speed, CDR, spirit cost reduction (damage reduction) and health globe bonus? Which stat to prioritize?

Young N for all of them just get as much as you possibly can. I’d say: CDR > Health Globe > AS > RCR

if "we want AS" then why no Istvan swords? even with 2 piece Raiment is better. Aaaaaand HELLFIRE,because passives. Monk has usefull passives for support. but i agree,with no area dmg!

Because we will already get close to or reach the 5.0 attack speed breakpoint with flying dragon, plus the CDR from Borns is very nice, and the stormshield is big survivability

you can turn the dex into int, just give say gloves to wizard, he will take it to Myriam, and she will change dex to int

@@Raxxanterax It would be cool if you get a wiz that is willing to let you know, because a lot of groups pushing higher GRs expect everyone to run T-Hud (some even expect you to run bots for paragons and caches) and don't like it when they have to focus on what the monk is doing because they say they are too busy focusing on their own role. Also on a side note LON bazooka requires a macro tool as well so its pretty much for granted that T-Hud and macro tools are mandatory for higher level GRs. Either way this is a very informative video minus the part about T-Hud.

@@Misaka_Complex Go watch LexandCes play bazooka wizard without using any macros. In fact, he plays all four classes for the meta and never uses macros or Thud. It is really not necessary.

@@MerryLucious Doesn't change the fact that more the 95% of the current leader boards for 4 man clears use macro tools and T-hud, and some of them even bot too. Also doesn't change anything about my point that you are expected to have T-hud installed by your party members that play higher GRs especially if you are a barb who is leading the group. Also lets say that you are playing bazzoka without a macro and you miss 1 cycle where the people using the macro will get it just fine, in the end the group of the guy not using the macro will lose the place to the group that is using the macro as the most blizzard does it to remove botters not people using T-hud or macros.
