I wasn't sure at first but now I understand the foundational issue with this game.. There is absolutely ZERO play testing going on behind the scenes. They are "Function Testing" for sure, but not play testing. As long as the animations work it is released into live service for us to test. Dolmen Stone build showed me this truth.

It definitely feels that way sometimes. Hopefully Season 5 will bring some significant class balance/fixes so we can just have a great expansion in Season 6.

Love the breakdown. It seems most d4 players have no idea how the druid works and saw all these “buffs” and thought druid’s issues were addressed at least a little bit despite in actuality, all these being negligible

Nice video. I liked the feedback you have on the PTR, but it seems like the Druid Devs don't listen to us druid players. Instead of buffing the currently used builds so we can push pits, they try to buff a low tier build to be in the same level us the current builds that are limited.

And Pulverize is probably still not going to be anywhere close to anything using the Thunderstruck node. There are fundamental issues with the class that need to be addressed and earth skills are one of them.

In the games defense, season 4 has been very much improved. However, the game still has so many flaws. My biggest complaint with druids is that for most builds I have to use 3 fucking pets to scale damage that doesn’t even compare to my friends barbs. But instead of complaining because I still have a lot of fun with the game, I’m going to make a support Druid build so I can buff my Necro, Barb, and rogue friends up more with cyclone armor and blood howl, and handle the pit!

Yeah, my overall experience this season has been incredibly positive. I was shocked by the new pets and how good they actually are. They are definitely doing a great job with the overall game.

@@NikoWrex I’m a team player, I didn’t sign up for this game to solo everything. I never have in any Diablo game. I’m going to create a windshear/support build to help my team members (Barb, rogue, and Necro) and see how far we push the pits

I would like the scaling to be of dmg instead of base dmg, max/current health instead of base health etc. Poison dot for druids and fire dot for sorc are o useless because base dmg means it will tick for 100 dmg or something useless like that...

This patch is so terrible for druid that they even get more behind on the other characters. I played druid for hoping to get a missive midd season buff, but now I will take a break till season 5. It's not fun being so behind if you party play a lot.

I have tried everything ....to try and get some sort of power on my build for pulverize but im perma stuck on pits under 30 to 45

I don't even play Druid and even I'm baffled that they gave Sorc and Necro barriers that scale off of max life while Earthen Bulwark still works off of base life in spite of Druid supposedly being the "tanky" class.

Makes no sense. Bulwark gets stripped off immediately. Hopefully the PTR for S5 will be big.

Nature's fury is good because you need to cast couple of skills at once if you want to do some dmg. Should be a boon! Great staff of crone should be one handed ( just another idea from a stormclaw desperate player )

The spirit boons definitely needs a rework. Energize should be used for Sprit per second. Maybe +4 Spirit per second.

I’m fine with the “15% chance when dealing damage” part. It’s the Lucky Hit that makes it absolute trash.

Possibly. However, the interaction with wind walls, suppressor domes, and walls related makes the build difficult. I actually thought it was going to be much better than it is due to previous seasons.

With the risk of irritating you even more, I must say that I associate the druid companion build with werewolves. I like the fantasy of running around as a pack, dashing and slashing. From that perspective, this update is nice. Not awesome, not great but nice. Of course druid is lagging so much behind the other classes that, indeed, more power and survivability are sorely needed. So, just like you, I also hope that the companion druid build will get even more attention in season 5.

That doesn’t irritate me. I love the werewolves and how good the active skill has gotten. I just want Poison Creeper and Ravens to be at least half as good. Also, they need to give us a bear like yesterday.

The druid buffs was really nice, but druid is still the worst class and is miles behind immortal sorc/barb. I was having fun playing pulverize druid trying to do pit tier 61 and when I switched to bash barb I could instantly go to pit tier 110 with no effort. Druid needs 900% damage buff to be viable in the pit imo.

Either Barb needs to be brought down or all other classes need to be brought up and we need WT5 and Uber Tormented Uber Bosses.

As much as I love Diablo as a franchise I can no longer continue to support them. They dont play test. The devs do not ply every class. They only play necro and barb. Unfortunately the streamers who main druid voices are not being heard. Until they re do all of these classes I will not play another minute. Definitely not buying the DLC. I will be patient until POE2. If diablo can get it right I will come back.
