I'm playing the iron skin variant. Sure, i lose damage, but it's perfectly fine for farming 101 and having an extra powerful protection and don't die for some oneshot here and there.

Close damage is better for direct bash, crit damage is better for bleed variant

I ran this without Harlequin Crest up to Pit 90 easily, could probably hasve pushed it much further. My helmet was Strength, CDR and resistance or health depending on what I needed. I tempered Imposing Presence, the other temper is not that important, but CC duration works fine. I then had the Aspect of Iron Blood for more survivabilty until I got the Harlequin Crest. Worked really well

HotA and Bash both require a Bludgeoning weapon, and you should be using Swords in the other three slots for their intrinsic Critical Strike Damage bonus. With 3x Swords, HotA and Bash will automatically be assigned to your 2H Bludgeoning weapon. (At least, that's how I've been playing it.)

i have a hybrid build i guess... its a thorns build but has great bash damage. works well right now, but soon i feel i will need to go all in on one or the other. i love the single target damage but then the thorns explosion for aoe.

How come when I go to weapon expertise is doesn't say "when using any weapon"? It says when using whatever the specific weapon is

because when you that weapon you do what the expertise says like if your useing slashing then only swords that slash will work with what the expertise is saying

The indicator on the Skill Bar is for the stun from Bash, not the overpower from Combat Bash. That's shown in your buffs.

Build is cool, i would trade to one hand, get more fury damage will be 40 to 80 mil normally 150-200 mil high crit damage pit runs 3 to 4 minutes. Boss fights will be 20 seconds or less for put level 100-110

Heavy handed GA on amulet is going to boost your DPS a ton. I like setting amulet to heavy handed, crit chance and attack speed. If you get GA on all 3, masterworked heavy handed, you'd be goated

Early on, this build feels like a glass cannon. I can dish out massive damage but get curb stomped in Pit 49+. And forget going into the 200 lvl bosses. Either the master working is the be all, end all to this build or something is fundamentally broken with it in terms of survivability. Any suggestions to stay alive? Is Iron Skin a viable option? Any help is greatly appreciated.

@@scmc670 if u use iron skin u can replace edgemaster or rapid if u got enough ias. 3rd option u can replace bold chieftain if u got enough cdr (in any case u will get only 2 seconds cdr vs bosses). and u can use iron warrior too, getting amazing dmg reduction and unstoppable basically forever since u reduce ur iron skin cdr using shouts.

@kuja5809 that is your evades by your health yes, but there's a passives bar above you skill bar that shows what passives are "active" like when you use an elixir and you see the little potion symbol pop up. You'll see the same thing with the bash icon coming and going with a number next to it.

For tiers 80+ i found iron skin the most important skill i use it too. I use harrogate armor too, so cooldowns are fine.
