TBH im really sad that ring of mendeln doesn't take the stats from the minions, it has created a minion meta which is not even a minion build. its stack damage for your char, stack survivability for minions, ignore all minion damage and minion attack speed nodes/gear and just equip the ring and watch it explode for absolutely insane damage. A minion build in my eyes, should revolve around stacking minion damage/attackspeed/survivability, and that ring should scale from that in an ideal world.

The reason why we use shadowblight is because we are running aspect which gives us 120% more dmg after shadowblight hit 10 times plus addition to this shadowblight gives 10% dmg to monster affected by it, and we use corpse tendrils instead of golem since with aspect you have 30% more crit and 90% more damage, so we can get really crazy amount of damage with just ring of mendeln, where monsters are being hit for 1mln/2mln constantly which is 11mln/22mln+ per proc. I was able to do NM dung tier 70 and i think i can do much higher on 90lvl necro since bone prison cd don't exist but if it gets nerf the variant with bone spear will become the best i guess or just put bone spear for lucky hit with shadowblight since bone spear isn't there for damage. Sorry for my bad english.

That’s really a total waste. Corpse explosion doesn’t trigger lucky hit at all, literally zero percent. 120% damage sometimes is just not worth losing aspects over. You can get 65% perma damage and you don’t have to waste skill slots

​@@LordFluffy1I use only bone prison for lucky hit, CE is for filer to stack flesh-eater + fueled by death + shadowblight i need to test it with black river if it can stack 4xflesh-eater at once. Well you are right that 120% damage is only at last boss who die at second bone prison in 30lvl+dungeons we really don't need damage on elites since they die in 1sec with it or without, better take one with 20% damage reduction for minions and they will become immortal. My build is highly concentrated for pushing so bone prison is mine damage dealer in this case, i have thought lucky hit in bone prison is just bugged and i'm expecting nerf soon, so the bone spear will become only viable choice. Your build is really, really good especially for speed farm just put corpse tendrils on necklace and get rid of golem, he isn't worth skill slot. You are doing a really great job, i'm still in love with your shadow build ;)

this build still slaps and maybe even harder post global damage/DR nerfs. i put this together with very trash rolls on mendeln. 30% resource cost reduction, 12% essence restore on lucky hit, 4 essence on kill from paragon, and the rest of paragon is all wrong still. but this still functions well. i’m uploading a video of me at 84 doing a 47 NMD right now

Use army of the dead, with decrepefy you can have it instantly back and those summoned minions proc lucky hit too. You can use bone prisons shard to to spam bone prison back to back which also decrease cd of army of the dead.

Why not use ossified essence to scale the dmg further, why take aspd for minion if those get wiped whenever you get hit, instead of big multipler for bone skills. And that note, are bone golem a bone skill?

I just cringe every time I hear someone call it the ring of mendalin when its mendeln. Minions are not OP Busted they are super weak especially with out proc-ing the Ring of Mendeln. But I have been looking for a build like this so I appreciate that and I appreciate the build planner too! So ty you I liked and subbed because of that.

Minion build is uselles on tier 60 and up if you dont have sadow damage and blide trust me i am a main necro and i alredy try all for minion your best option os sadow blid3 and use the mage to fresse and if you use the 14k thorn armor is nasty nasty damage

You already have to invest into pets to ensure they stay alive for Mendeln procs. I talk about it at the start of the video.

u need to make up your mind, it's either a "Minions" build or RoM build. Minions damage have no effect on RoM proc damage, it's completely no reason to get minions damage on gears and paagons (you still need the reduce damage on minions nodes on Cult Leader board), and minions attack speed have little benefit only on the corpse production and essence regen from mages. Majority of your paragons and skill points are wasted in hoping for the minions doing relatable damage compared to your damage (or your RoM proc).

I agree that it's strange to buff minions damage. Example how minions damage is nothing is in this video (35:28 Bone Prison Quirks section) without RoM proc minions were damaging for 2k and after a proc - 160k something... It looks like (for me at least) that without RoM proc minions struggles to kill white mobs.
