Damn, I cleared 80 yesterday with minions and was feeling pretty tapped out. 100 is crazy. I know there's some places my gear could use improvement (I don't have nearly as many spicy GA mastery affix items), but I'm kinda baffled honestly. What's the purpose of grasping veins affix? Just to get more crit chance? Can't that be capped off without it?

GJ for the 100 ! However, you forgot to activate a reinforcement, Varyana with Earth Breaker helps crowdcontrol quite a bit.

That's intentional. Reinforcement resets the Mendeln ring counter.

I may have missed something but how are you applying curses? I dont see decrepify on your hotbar nor cursed aura on your gear

So you changed to Grandfather. Did you feel a big difference in damage from the 2H Scythe? I have the runes + sparks to make one, but I'm wondering if it's worth the cost.

Of course the difference is big, but mainly because my 2-handed scythe is quite weak. I believe that a 2GA/3GA scythe with good tempering may be equally good. The problem is that I don't have one yet and I can't check it.

This is quite impressive! I’ve been playing minion necro since the season started and I haven’t tried pushing past 75 yet because I’ve been focused on leveling my paragon up until now. The build is starting to feel pretty strong with level 18 mages etc. I am currently running without the golem and have been using Tyrael’s for the defenses. I am considering trying the Shroud for the +1 to all passives to see if it is viable for pit pushing or not. I am also casting decrepify manually right now instead of using glyphs to do so. My glyphs add crit chance instead. From your experience would you say the golem is an absolute must for pushing to 100 or do you think it can be done without the golem?

Atm mages with shroud are easier and can (for sure) clear pit 102. I think you should try both versions and decide which one suits you better.

The only situation you can find is without golem you can't control mages or send them to a specific target, sometimes they are dumb

@@Gen_X72 I generally just spawn minions on top of the target when they are misbehaving. It also seems to deal a fair bit of damage to do so even though I’m supposedly losing Mendeln stacks when I do.

Nice work!! Would you say Golem with the 500% damage glyph is better than having decrepify and 10 minions with the extra Crit Dmg? I am tired of casting the curse 😭

I would say that both are good options and you should choose the one that gives you more fun. You can use the autocurse rune on literally any build.

Thank you brother for the video!! I been slowly collecting gear in HC, I got 4 GA Mendeln, 4 GA Helm… 2 GA GF… so excited to play this and tired of the spiritborn 1shots the whole screen. Any thoughts on if the current planner you have here is fully optimized so I can plan to work around what you have?

@@jerycho2634 your health doesn’t go down at all at pit 100. Not sure what else to say but I think mostly everyone on HC has some variation of this. Wondering if you are still optimizing and what you think could be upgraded?

@@BenTheMan667 I tried to avoid dmg. I used the harlequin hat before and it actually gave me a lot of survivability, health and allowed me to clear pit 95. When it comes to improvements, definitely gear with GA, better aspects and maybe better rune combinations. I'm also considering a 2h scythe.

it's great for pure mages builds -but in this case you want chest with golem mastery.

Dont get it wrong, I love Minion Necro, but that was awful to watch. T100 is far too high, Takes ages to get one pack down. Play ing on T90 makes more sense.
