Same. I was chain lightning/arc lash with the new unique gloves that cause marked. The aarklash meant that I could always hit a new Target for that $150 to 200% so it was great for packs and room clearing but it struggled with elites and I couldn't kill any of the bosses.... I'm hoping this will keep me from switching to a barbarian. The hardest part I'm having right now is getting the glacial aspect and switching all my gear over from crit chance and damage because dot does not benefit from this.... Wish me luck

@simphunter4292 the gear will come with time. It's really not super gear dependent until late game. I'm running 50-60s with trash gear. As long as you have a decent amount of LH/LH w/bar, you're good. Also, CC/CD is still good to have in there for the ice orbs and things like that. But yea, I'm def aiming for 100% LH between w and w/o barrier

At the moment I am leveling a necro….my barb is parked in the corner at level 60 because I wanted a ranged character for these silly vaults. But I think I will do a sorceress too. People can be as unhappy as they want, but since the patch I am enjoying leveling again, and an even better patch is expected today. These developers have been through hell this year already. I admire their ability to just keep going. The season had a bad start but they’re still working on it. Wow.

I'm level 70, in order to play this build I need to farm duriel, an endgame boss. In order to farm him I need endgame items/build. That's what sucks about blizzard, there are things that are NEEDED in order for it to work, and if you don't have them, bye bye build.

In the gear aspect i changed Raiment of Infinite for the Godslayer Crown. It also pulls enemies and i think its more consistent for defense because Raiment upgrades glass cannon which makes you take more damage and the Crown has both maximum health and damage increase which helps in defense and damage and you can put a very defensive chest piece to tank more, so it helps you on the hardest content like 90+ ninghtmare dungeons. In the ring aspect i also think X'fall is better than Blue Rose. I did some testing with the X'fall i recently got and its like just 35k increase and it's already better than my Blue Rose.

Hey Josh! Great content as always! :) Love the Esu's Ferocity idea. As an interesting side note, I had heard another content creator last season mention that that Key Passive was bugged, such that even though it specifies Fire damage, it actually worked with all damage types. In fact, some people were using it with Ball Lightning, not only for increased attack speed by adding the Ancient Flames Aspect, like you did here, but also for the Crit Damage and Crit Chance from the Key Passive itself. I do not know whether they have fixed it for this season, and have not tested it yet, but it certainly did work before. Also, on the Seneschal, is there any reason you use Initiative Support with Flash of Adrenaline rather that Tactical? With Tactical's cooldown reduction, you get 100% uptime. Final question, does Icefall actually work with Ice Spikes? I'm wondering since they are technically not a Frost Skill, but rather an effect from an Aspect, triggered by a Frost Skill. Anyhow, thanks again, and keep up the great work Josh! :)

I just about quit Season 3, in fact I had quit, but I saw that and have discovered a new build that seems made for me. I'm elderly(really old) and my reaction time and quick thinking abilities have faded away. This set up seems slower and requires some patience to watch the enemy "melt" away. No need for fast spamming the main attack. My kind of build.

Trying to find a nice helm to replace it. Melted Heart of Selig seems good as an amulet. I have Glacial replacing conceited at the moment.

Can you confirm whether Blizzard / Ice Spikes themselves proc fire bolt / devouring blaze? Blizzard isn't considered 'direct damage' so what we are seeing on this video is actually the frozen orb enchantment occasionally (sometimes frequently) proc'ing the burning? Cheers.

Hey guys. Watching this just gave me an idea with the meteor build. Instead of firewall what happens if you run it with lightning apear and arc lash enchantment? Meteor can be a cooldown now which means casting it stuns enemies and makes stun synergy.

My seneschal is rocking now going full Firefly (thanks wudijo for th tips) EDIT: I actually replaced firefly with Lightning bolt and added Arcing to increase the number of hits. I got this down maybe 90% (paragon board, skills, all aspects, but i have a diff wand and gloves.. thats it.. Yet i do ALOT less damage. im hitting 100ks sometimes. but you seem to hit over 300k and faster.. what am i missing? Answered this myself. 8 days after this comment (this is the first time I ever play a diablo game) I have all ubers, level 100 sorc in 12 hours. I have all stones from malphas and fully upgraded. Am rank 81 in the gauntlet, I have nuked uber lillith and everyother boss in the game. Sorcerer is the best class by far and it's not even close. We have everything, speed , nuke , it just requires a big brain and a lot of gear. Also - these guides suck and build by ragegamingvideos is known to be a meme and absolute trash amongst the community of sorcs. Anytime we see anyone using a build from his videos we know they are nooby or are going to claim they can one shot a boss and wipe us 12x in a row. Accruied and Makuna, along with rox and other players like that are who you want to watch for actual sorcerer knowledge.

You would do less damage casting meteor instead of just blitzing the blizzards. Meteor also needs 2 key aspects one of which(60% crit damage) wants the amulet spot.

I haven't had Raiment or Tibalts yet but I did get Godslayer Helm, which kinda helps pull in the mobs while I wait for a Raiment drop. Using Shared Misery chest unless you have any advice on a different aspect.

Honestly fellas I'm going to make a request.... I don't know if you're one of those creators or KZbinrs that totally ignore comments sections but I'm going to give it a shot and this is the first request I've ever given on your videos. can you take a look at the chain lightning/arc lash with the paingorgers gloves build i was using? I was using a endgame chain lightning build.. have no specific planner for how I had it set up. But I changed cooldown to basic skill damage increase on offhand and damage to distant and intelligence to burning and basic skill damage on weapon. I used fireball for AOE explosion in crowds and chain lightning for the added marking of targets as enchantments . I feel like if anyone could make this build better and possibly meta and FIX WHERE I STRUGGLED it would be you guys. Man this build was just so fun to use and I could clear screens full of enemies easy. I could mark them all on screen with my chain lightning skil,.its enchantment and unbroken tether aspect. my movement speed and arc lash meant I could always hit a new enemy to proc the 200% basic damage bonus spread to marked, then pair that with the fireball explosions and screens of mobs just poofed away. I just could not do anything against the end game bosses and I struggled against nightmare dungeon bosses also. Sometimes if there was a lot of elites on the screen or I ran into one of those rooms where it spammed screens of elites I was in trouble and it would be a hell of if I made it.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THIS BUILD AND SEE IF YOU COULD MAKE IT BETTER OR BETTER! I had no uniques other than the paingorgers gloves, an early drop tal rasha and esu boots with the changes to it that I mentioned above.

I love your videos, love your content and love your sense of humor. you guys are the only place, other than nicktew, that I go for information. Guys if there is any way you could take a look at this, play around with it and see if there was something that I could have done to keep using this build past mid-70s I would appreciate it because it was the most fun I've had playing sorcerer yet and yes I played ball lightning. I feel like the unique gloves were put into the game to make basic skills relevant and I thought adding them into a proven leveling/end game chain lightning that they could have took it to a end game build and I still think there may be a chance....here's the chain lightning planner that I used. Emmm i recommend BARRIER CHEST + OCULUS in this build. With this combo i got my teleport on 4.75s cd and basically 100% uptime of pants dmg. Its better than teleport chest that increses cd by 20 and you lose uptime on pants buff. Iw managed to get bit over 100% crit chance on ice spikes haha

The damage from some enemies seems to really cause a lot more scares than the meteor/firewall had. With that build I felt invincible, this build, well I only ever died against a son of malphas, is that going to be what happens against bosses? Should I be precasting Barriers, though doing that has caused more moments where I take a big Spike of damage on bosses only

Late comment, I'm trying to copy this build as casual player, I can't get anywhere near that attack speed I got everything the same and just can't get it. I don't have genesis as of yet tho does that make the difference. What is your total attack speed in your stats pleae

With Xfals, i have mana problems, with Blue Rose gameplay feels smoother and better...

everytime i see this mage builds i ask myself: what about resistances? do they matter at all? am i just losing stats having them 70% each? and also, how do you get so much armor and hp?

The armour it’s in the video. You can get that armour with juggernaut aspect and one roll of total armor on gear

not tried emteor but i got spikes build since start was leveling wirn ice spikes. I m not fast enough to take full advantage of this build. Need to try Esu passive as i play avalange.

I've got the bouncing meteor build maxed out and I hate my boss damage. Its fine but this looks faster. I'm just feeling like meteor is too clunky.. Find myself spamming just bouncing fireball half the time.

Meteor hit a wall without uber constructs for me. Its fun and looks sweet but 85+ mobs hit too hard. Gonna try this tomorrow.

ice spikes build i fucked up levfeling with blizzard cause did not get aspect till WT4 !!!!! ice spikes got aspect in dungeon.

I used chain lightning until I reached Wt3 where it fell off. Switched to Ice Shards and it was very smooth up to WT4 and beyond. Very similar gear to Blizzard builds as well, so easy to swap over. I haven't swapped yet, planning too this weekend though.
