I feel Raimnent of the Infinite is a must with Ball Lighnting. Been playing Ball Lightning for 4 seasons now. Adding the teleport enchantment with Raimnent, you can basically constantly teleport.

its a very fun build, but i dont know, i spent lots of hours as sorc this season and i feel like its so dead compared to other classes, good map clears but the boss damage in most builds is just ass.

It is. I mainly played Sorc and I still love but I made a Necro after a Sorc and it's a world of difference. Only downside is build variety isn't comparable to Sorc but the upside is none of the struggles of Sorc.

random sidebar for your consideration: how do we feel about making ball lightning a partial frozen orb build? running fractured winterglass, frozen orb enchant, and shatter mixed with low cooldown reduction essentially pushes out swarms of frozen orbs dealing massive damage on top of ball lightning damage. i am currently trying to level and test the theory but seen someone push it in the ptr and haven’t seen anything from it since. would love to know your thoughts or even if you could test it to see, that would be wonderful. i really think the hybrid of the two could work but have no idea what the viability would be in its current state. maybe rock ice blades enchant still with conjuration to lower cooldowns on top of tempering + conj mastery damage? idk its a pipe dream but thought i would drop this in here with the hopes it peaks your curiosity. overall great vid tho! still absolutely love the blue balls of death playstyle

Interesting, I'm going to do some testing on it. In theory though it sounds like it should work, though you'll have to swap out some aspects to get frozen orb to actually do damage. If I find anything I'll post some kind of video, or comment here.

Also,I see you have lucky hit to stun tempered on. If you want,you could reroll that to something else if using Raiment of the Infinite ,as you will be teleporting the whole time and stunning enemies.

Thanks for another great video! I have never seen an amulet with a bonus to conjuration mastery and devouring blaze before. That is quite a find. For the amount of mana that ball lightning consumes it really should do a bit more damage or perhaps cost less mana to create. I am running a ball lightning build and I have been able cast ball lightning almost continuously without relying on Tibault's will, Starless Skies or mana from crackling energy. That said, it is a bit of pain. I have plus to mana per second on the helm, chest and feet. Addtionally, I have 3 ranks in fiery surge and a total of 6 ranks in conjuration mastery. I also have maxed out lucky hit and my build uses two items with affixes that give a 5% chance to grant mana on a lucky hit. Additionally, getting items with reduced resource cost is very helpful. Grabbing the extra mana nodes on the static surge and elemental summoner boards was also needed. It is a little crazy but it does work... sort of. My damage is much lower than what is shown in the video. Anyway, I am looking forward to your take on continuous flame shield. I think it could work well with frozen orb.

has anyone else seen the devs response to the sorc broken affixes and broken Nodes, the devs have replied to a few of us on the matter and they said sorc is working as intended and that theres nothing wrong with the nodes or affixes. when all the testing players have done proves it isnt working blizzard says it is fine on there end they said they tested it multiple times. so dont look for sorc to get much better. theres 100s if not thousands of people complaining about it but blizzard said its fine on there end. it sucks because if i want to push higher tiers i cant use my favoret class i can but the boss fights and ubers are a pain to do everything else is a blast on sorc .

Any build that requires a unique to be viable seems pretty worthless in season 4. I got a 925 Tal Rashas, and after masterworking to level 4, its still no where near comparible to a tempered 850 ring with two great affixes and no masterworking. The aspect from Tal Rasha's doesnt seem worth the sacrifice of 45% Damage 130 Intelligence. Am I missing something?

Ball lightning, it's your main damage source. Unstable is more for an extra dmg boost for elite packs and bosses.

Starless is the main mana solver, but if you mean aside from that you're mainly going to want to run res generation on your jewelry, and if you don't have starless you'll need to run a res aspect. I used tibaults to help a bit, as well as make sure you're running around picking up energy as you cast. Without starless though you won't quite be able to get the same amount of balls out.

If you don't have starless you're going to struggle heavily. Before I got it, I put resource cost/ generation as a must in my jewelry. As well as taking tibaults for free 50 resource fill with Tele and flame shield. Also grab as much energy while you are in combat to generate some resource. It's tough for sure, but doable. But like I said without starless this build does struggle.

2nd best ball lighning build pls mine is number #1 i clear pit 153 also get mastery skill damage which is much better than close enemy since you want BL at 24 ranks also it does work super well with conjuration stacks which close enemies not does. also BL is possible without starless but not as quite powerful you did show wrong stats on ring which should be crit damage,attack speed,crit chance also unstable currents cooldown and wonderkinds aspekt 25 mana per cd skill the mana per second isnt needed on helmet+ boots get life also having 1 greater affix armor is much better than the tempering all armor % so get life thats all you need oh and get on boots and amulett teleport cooldown reduction which is nessasry to reach instant tp like i have the paragon board looks good for reach 115 at least. At the end i wish you would have shown you statistics to see you adaptive damages but no content creator does it like always.

Im not a fan of how money hungry everything is in order to make any kind of damage compared to necro, druid and barbarian of which can make much more dmg in no cost at all or very miniscule of such... This game is so unbalanced currently and it shows that the developers are bootlicking the necro, druid, barbarian "holy trio". You must play one of those three in order to get proper endgame, sorc is not an option.
