My question if anyone knows, in the two special editions for the DLC comes with the premium season pass. Does that apply now because you get everything else now other than the character of course. Does that apply when the new DLC releases, or does that apply whatever you want it to like it did when you got the premium pass in the special edition on launch?

I Pre-Ordered Ultimate (05-09-24)…. $100 ouch, but I believe it will be worth it. I really like that they let the pre-order people get some things early/now. I like the Jungle town portal I got with my order too. Blizzard ALSO shadow dropped bug fixes and more with this patch.

I’m really hoping the spirit born is a melee fighter and can channel animal spirits like vixen. Channeling tigers, snakes, etc

Probably closer to witch doctor and Druid. Seems like summoning, poison and claw weapons would suit the new class from my own perspective

This season was basacly 1.0. So now they want to sell us more. Even the dlc has a ultimate version but no uber version? Nah this feels way to much as a money grab. Had some fun this season finally but there is far better and cheaper games out there.

$40 for cheapest version of the expansion. I won't pay that price unless the added campaign is the same ratio of content to original story, as the expansion price to retail price. $60 for the original game, so i better get a campaign that is 2/3rds the length of the original release story content. If they think 1 new class, one new area, and 1 act of story is enough to get me to spend $40 they are nuts. I have other games on steam waiting for me to play/finish.

I'll probably buy the expansion for the story, but I don't think I'll play D4 long term. There's nothing really to keep me playing. I wish they put in an arena like they planned for d3 but never implemented.

If the "co-op" dungeon is co-op only and includes the best gear, then that's an automatic no. World bosses are fine, but having to group for dungeons just turns this into an isometric MMO which I am not for at all.

Not really excited for spiritborn. crusader and monk would’ve been far better. More classes is good but what we have hasn’t been balanced yet so I hope that doesn’t become a bigger problem with more classes. Sadly spiritborn sounds like another class with 25$ cosmetics of silly crap. Rogue dru and Sorc cosmetics are ridiculously stupid. Spiritborn will probably wear diapers

Looking at the comments though, enjoy paying 40 bucks for some stuff that wont work until a year after its been released, and even then itll be super underwhelming im almost positive at this point. Yes, pressure consumers into pre ordering the absurdly priced ultimate edition by offering a crap ton of pre order bonuses. The greed and anti-consumer practices still running wild in Blizzard I say. Unfortunate to me that you Open World Games hypes up these things as a part of the hype engine while fronting as a place for gaming news. You have been a cog in the wheel for a bit now it seems sadly. Enjoyed your Anthem stuff back in the day but its gotten bad now.

If we were to calculate the individual cost of each item included in the package based on current prices, it would easily exceed $50. You will receive a complete set of armour for every class, including pets, a mount, Battle Pass, 3,000 Platinum, and a variety of other items. Essentially, you are getting the expansion for free.

The fact that players are constantly being given less content for not pre purchasing a game they don’t know they will like for the sake of FOMO is a terrible anti consumer practice that has run rampant in the games industry. The value of said items is irrelevant. The fact that you don’t get it if you don’t preorder the game is the problem.

Another epic fail for blizzard. Pets and mercs for the snowflakes and a skinny looking druid. On top of the huge price to boot. Why is it hard for them to make a class that uses shields, or class fixes instead of nerfs.
