The first time anyone plays a game with a season mechanic as a core element, it’s weird. Don’t worry, as you play more, a reset every few months actually feels good. All of your progress will be saved in a realm called eternal. You can always play your old character if the current season doesn’t feel good.

I had never played a game with seasons until d4. Seasonal powers were something I didn't like. I don't want to find an amazing fun build that incorporates a seasonal power and then not be able to play it once the season is over. Seasons 4 and 5 for me have been the best. Permanent game improvements

That should've been in the game day 1? They have all the history to work on and implement similar systems since D3 yet we get D4. Season 5 is one of along with season 3 that I didn't reach lvl 100 with a character in.

No we're just highly upset the game has reverted to D3 and not taken risks in progressing the genre. Everything D4 has done is just resigned D3 and if it doesn't basically turned D4 8nto an 80's arcade game with no depth and no soul.

​@@TheSystemKidcope was used in the context of hoping what else it will bring in the future that's uncertain im certain some leagues will be controversial or bad just like how poe 1 had some like necropolis for a recent example. But we both recognize poe 2 EA is already more robust, complex, and satisfying than d4 and bc of how team ggg is, the future is bright, cope was a poor choice of word since it has mostly stigma and negative context but to restate how i tried to use (albeit poorly) hoping in uncertainty about its future content. Already its objectively better than d4 in even its EA state lol. Now to go back to the initial subject reason i commented that is bc that is the only solution to your complaint, the other alternatives are playing other games lol if u dont like season resets. Not sure if your new but sessonal resets are kind of refreshing but I'd say even more so in the poe context due to less exclusivity with abilities and passives, theory crafting goes nuts.

Diablo 4 is perfect for me! Im not hardcore, I dont play 6 hour game sessions, and its easy to pick up and put down with no stress. I will not play POE 2 becausr honestly I dont have time, and I dont care! I allready have a game to play.

Im done with D4. Ibthought the expansion maybe was a step in right direction, but knowing that Blizz will nevwr listen to the player base enough, ibrefuse to support them anymore. After seeing Johnathons passion and excitement for his game, i just dont think the D4 devs care about the game, just the $. Barely a smile or enthusiasm.

While I agree that the patch fix for antivenin elixir was the right move, getting a taste of that power boost to have it taken hours later literally killed my interest in continuing with D4 S6 I don’t see coming back anytime soon

Basicly its exactly the same game as before just a new season mechanic, hard pass. Need new content a season power isnt new content, will still be hordes, pit endgame spam. Gets booring in 5 minutes. Will jump to D2R for 1 season now then go Path of Exile 2 seems 100 times better
