That bunk loot UC run was followed by almost 30 T4 boss runs that also didn't get me a single Mythic. This game is RNG on top of RNG. Nothing is reliable.

That's one issue I have. It's already a significant gamble that you won't get the desired passive. It shouldn't also be an even higher odds of not even getting to roll any passive. It isn't very useful to anyone who isn't cheating for gold.

Definitely not guaranteed. I've ran 2 resolute and 3 united and only dropped 1 mythic and those were just the tributes I had personally. Ran 2 more united my friends had and still no mythic. All of this pre and post patch.

Not a bad video. Title should just be "how to use the undercity" excellent for that. I'm finding that i just go on the new player finder and mix it up with NMDs, pits, torment bosses, citadel, hordes, etc. There's enough to do now that nothing gets too boring. You change between all these and you eventually get what you're looking for.

I did an undercity run with a unique tribute and spent the 5M to get guaranteed affixes... Halfway through the first floor, I noticed my time wasn't going up. Ticked down the last 10 seconds while I did a pillar and killed a few more elites, no time added. Run failed. Logged off for the night right there. At least I didn't waste 50M.

Under city is great. Very fast clear times, and I always get good drops here even if it’s just to sell. Lots of ancestral legendaries and even got a mythic on my first unique run

The problem is that this is theoretically a good concept... if only it works as intended. Actually they admitted is bugged and, more often than not, it isn't rewarding the specific targeted items choosen at the start. This should be fixed in season 7. So atm doing it is "almost" pointless. It works sometimes and sometimes not. For runes mostly works, for targeted items affixes almost never works. About the mythics, I ran 4 of them at torment 4 with the increased loot opal and I got 2 mythics, so it seems working but maybe I should have dropped more. Tbh I'll keep the next tries for the S7.

dude you giving out false info just because it happened for you. you don't get a guarantee for a mythic. its just a higher chance. also the whole group getting the same item is an exploit/bug.

Just used a Tribute of Ascendance (United) with my wife and all either of us got were NON-ancestral legendaries. No uniques. No ancestral gear. Complete waste.

How do you switch your settings to full damage numbers instead of the abbreviated numbers? Honestly its harder for me to tell my damage with the abbreviated bc they are so small on the screen and there are so many..

It should be in the Combat Text Options on the Gameplay tab. If you had it set already, you may need to change it then change it back. Sometimes when they patch the Damage Text, it messes up your settings.

When running a unique tribute and you get a class specific mythic and you have a player of a different class, that other class would get a random mythic that they can use. Also they aren't guaranteed. I've ran 7 unique tributes and have only gotten 3 mythics out of them

When yall got the same exact loot with the unique, in the patch notes that was a bug that won't suppose to happen my group we had same thing happen we all got t-might, I've ran 8 of them between the 4 of us the loot drop is really nice but unfortunately the t-might was the only mythic we found out of the 8, now my first raid run I got mythic out the cache that was pretty awesome

I've done hundreds of tormented bosses, pits, and kurast undercity but I haven't gotten a single tribute while others in my party have dozens. Is this a bug or do I simply have terrible luck?

I’ve found 4 Tribute of ascendance so far. All have come from using opals and doing whispers. This is the only source I know of getting them, but they are extremely rare, and do not give a unique on every run. You just have a larger chance to get one. I did a run with one and didn’t get a unique. Uber bosses will still be a faster way to get uniques as you can get the mats faster.

parts of this video are misleading. first of all, when u run the unique tribute (ascendance) the mythic unique drop is NOT guaranteed. this is regardless of the torment level, reward upgrade level and the type of tribute (united/resolute). i KNOW this for a fact cuz i ran yesterday three of these tributes on torment 4 with the max reward level (4). i ran one united and two resolute. each of them i got me uniques (as 'promised' in the tribute's of ascendance description), only one of them gave me a mythic unique (the description mentions ONLY A CHANCE at a mythic). now from what i heard these have a relatively very high chance of giving u a mythic, i was just unlucky to get 1 out of 3 chances BUT the mythic IS NOT guaranteed. secondly, the activity rewards system SOMETIMES DOES BUG OUT. i know this too for a fact cuz i speedran multiple various tributes on a couple of occasions and there were MULTIPLE times when i only received legendary loot, and nothing that would correspond to the specific tribute's description. when i ran titans, i got no boss mats, when i ran the rune tributes i got no runes etc. from my experience this usually happens if u run the activity in a group and u do it very quickly - which, unfortunately, is what the activity wants u to do. somehow the game engine "overloads" and because of the amount of data (mob kills, dps numbers being calculated across the whole map sometimes) it forgets what tribute ur running and just plain gives u legendaries at the end instead what u were supposed to get. this happened to me as recently as yesteday (so after the patch that was supposed to fix this). my advice - run these solo until this gets fixed and/or always reset the game as soon as u see u'r not getting what u were running. ALSO - if u want to run tribute of ascendance, and want to run it in a team on torment 4 (which gives more loot drops thus giving u more chances at a mythic drop) to maximize ur chances of getting the max reward upgrade level (obviously if u have buddies with strong, decked out characters this would make it much easier of guaranteeing a level 4 reward upgrade) do a test run before. insert some other tribute and check if u get the rewards u were supposed to. if u do, run ascendance next. just do not run multiple of them one after the other. in my experience, when playing in a group, rewards bug out after like 3-5 runs. they do not "fix" by themselves, u have to reset the game. also, if it's feasible, run ascendance, just to be safe, in a team of 2 instead of 4 - until a fix comes because, as i said before, THE ACTIVITY CAN GET BUGGED and stop giving u rewards of the tribute u were running.

For easy MONI runes do undercity with rune tribute on torment difficulty 1 you wont get it everytime but im averaging moni runes 4 out of 6 runs pretty consistently...you can make a video on that 😊

You're not the first D4 content creator to claim that the Tribute of Ascendance gives a guaranteed Mythic. It's NOT guaranteed. Not sure where you're getting that information.

I don't get jack from these runs when wasting gold/obols on the bargains. You have to find tributes that guarantee one legendary or the even rarer one that "raises your chance" (I never got a Mythic to drop from it) for a Mythic at the end. That was with Rank IV, so no, it's not guaranteed.

I have run dozens of runs in there, and not in a single one got a decent thing, still missing some legendary runes that dropped mostly from bosses and Word boss. Trying to get one by trade is a a joke, people ask for insane amounts of gold for a single one.

Hi, nice video overall, informative. But its not this good, its still RNG, a lot of RNG. Sure you can raise the chance of getting the item/stats you need, but not gurantee them. Also, you said "guaranted" mythics from those special tributes. I have ran 4 of them, 1 solo 3 group ones, got no mythic in any of them. in 2 of them 1 party member got 1 mythic.

The Undercity is insanely underwhelming. There are so many missed opportunities with it. The debuffs are lackluster and unimaginative (reduce potion drops, really?). The tributes seem bugged even when you use the correct version. Honestly, get rid of “resolute”. What group of individuals would want to run an Undercity if the person spawning the portal is the only person getting rewards?!?! Literally nobody benefits from “resolute” tributes. Nobody. A solo player is not begging for a tribute to cater to them when it’s no different from a “united” tribute in terms of rewards. The split between “resolute” and “united” just makes people feel awful when they finally get an insanely rare unique tribute to drop only for it to be “resolute” so that none of their friends want to use it/benefit from it. It’s Blizzard adding unnecessary grind to an already rare item. The Undercity feels like half-baked content that they pushed out without considering how to make it actually fun, challenging, and rewarding.

Undercity is garbage, I've ran 3 ancestral unique's with not 1 ancestral drop. Full meter way under time. I ran one ancestral legendary and got a bunch of good drops, second time running the same one I didn't get one ancestral... It's bugged.

I did 50 of these at rank 4/4 for the tiger mount and it was all trash loot I was trying to get runes for mythic crafting system garbage drops the mercenary pale marks also suck dark citadel is only good once but no one wants to farm it nightmare dungeons suck the treasure room sucks the pit rewards suck i've only gotten good ancestral unique from bosses but you scuff your build so hard if you only wear unique 2.0 was a massive failure and should have never been approved Our drops were fine in season four loot reborn season six is loot re dead
