Aside from minor tweaks, which btw we already know because the devs told us in the campfire chat it hasn’t undergone massive buffs/nerfs aside from some broken builds. So yeah… not unreasonable to give a tier list. I will say though that man you had a really great point until that huge week of being able to play season four gets in your way 😂

The tempering and master working of items, really opens the game to off the chart builds that will alter, change or empower skills giving them different mechanics. I think if they keep on it and introduce new tempering and master work mats that alter skills will be super. The devs have a framework now. So adding should be easy to make super fun skill mechanics

Haven't played since pre season launch but I'm thinking this seems like a pretty decent time to come back and give it another shot. I got a few characters to 100 but the lack of any real endgame was really starting to wear me down. Then that one overly heavy nerf patch really sapped my desire to play anymore. After watching some videos from the Maxroll gang, I'm cautiously optimistic XD

Rhykker is a blizzard employee basically. The changes aren't significant or good enough to make it much different than before. Honestly the biggest change is in XP because they found out NOBODY wants to grind in this game. They are giving it the D3 treatment. You come in to a new season, level real quick, get some seasonal challenges done, get out after a few days.

I am so hyped to finally play my minion necro I played one through the campaign with my buddy when it first came out and hit 50 and fell behind his barbarian quickly so I am happy minion build got some love.

Minion Necro was my 1st build on release. After a few season's absence, it'll be nice to try it again and hopefully have a smoother experience that sees it viable at end game!! I will have sorceress as an alt, ideally with frozen orb, just because they're cool and I like the playstyle

I know changing builds is a lot easier this season but re doing skill points and paragon is still a huge pain. Since storage is shared and lvling is mega fast, its almost like you are playing the same char

I heard that minions are getting buffed and I was going to try minion Necro. After seeing the tier list, I'm definitely playing minion necro.

My Druid build is centered around Wearbear attacks with wearwolf minions, pulverize that does earth damage, and sends out a Shockwave, I use lascerate to clear larger groups when I'm surrounded. Pulverize obviously can clear a group, but lacerate doest use resource. Then I use howl to restore health, spirit, and fortify. My fortify is basically always up. I also make use of lightning strike passive, and hurricane. This build allowed me to finally beat the butcher at my mid 20s! It's been a really beast!

it's always interesting to see where the youtubers go with their build list. Several put Barb/Sorc/Neco on the same level, with druid in the middle and rogue at the bottom. Rhykker goes the complete opposite. Yes Neco Minior is easy mode, but like you said, it's slow, can't keep up with the other two, so is going to struggle in the pits. Only time will tell how well Frozen Orb does with the removal of the endless cycle with the new amulet.

Barb and Druid are the slowest to level and or get a build going but honestly once you get a few good items they become S tier...... just play what you like to...... Iam going sorce orb with the tele and "helper" build yeah ill be squishy but my damage out put will be amazing who needs defense lol

I was debating between Barb and Necro as those are the two characters I haven’t played at all yet. I’m guessing there will be A LOT of Necros, so I’ll probably go barb just to be different. There is also part of me that wants to remake my OG pre-seasons Druid just to see how much different it feels, but I don’t know if I can do that early game Druid life again

I'm seeing a lot of the same builds from previous versions of the games still pushing higher difficulties. Are other builds not viable at all with just easier means to get the older builds up and running? I'd personally love to play incinerate sorc, but if they didn't optimize it at all, whats the point in build diversity? Maybe I'm wrong, and maybe this is just for meta (which I personally have never found fun cause it's copy and pasted by so many)

Hmmm Tornado Druid is going to be super strong, at least A if not up there with some of the Necro builds. Minion will be strong but some struggled in PTR with them being pretty dumb hurting true DPS. I am liking Bone spirit Necro or a full shadow DOT build. Going to be a fun season!

I just played it for a week at the end of season 3. And that's all I played of season 3. It was fkn easy. I got into wt3 like lvl 35 wt4 at level 50. NM dungeon 46 at lvl 75. And I didn't have a razorplate, and the razorplate buff is massive

Season 1 I walked through the game with a thorns barb. I could afk in pvp and people would kill themselves. Now with the updates it’ll be disgusting. It’s boring af, but disgusting.

As someone who is redownloading d4 (haven’t played since s1) It feels like every build is underwhelming especially for bossing unless you’re necro. Based on this video. Is that the case? It feels bad to wanna play a sorcerer or build for example and find out that it will just be so much weaker than other things, and doing bosses will be a struggle. Am I understanding the video right?

You shouldn't have a problem with any of the classes. Seriously, this game is not that hard to the point that you won't be able to kill a boss. You will need to farm regartheless of what you choose. Take the one that you like the most :)

Necro was my go to in D2 LoD Nothing was better than having hundreds of skeletons walking around 😂😂 Too bad d4 makes you use 2 of 6 skill slots just to summon golem and skeletons.. and can only get like 7 minions 🥵 so dumb

Been only Rogue since D4 release. Just tried Necromancer in Season 3, but i just got to lvl 50 and world tier 3 because the season was so boring and other games had my attention. I guess i'll got one heck of a reason to try Necromancer again this season and reach for lvl 100.

Necromancer this season here. Minion/Darkness Build. I love blight/decompose. With ice mages/warriors and some priest minion mixed in it; my build is quite fun!
