The blood surge build is based on doing over power damage with blood. Use a mace, it has some over power damage in its default attribute at the top of its stats. Stack health, more health means pushing more tiers, you will get damaged more but also the blood over power damage will be huge. So stack health, attack speed and over power damage. When tankier enough run with 9% health gems and some health tempering and get some health masterworking. With a potion health can get close to 100k. Stacking blood attack speed is must so get it on your weapon tempering, gloves, mace, focus and rings. Us the occultist to reroll some stats to speed up finding the gear. The blood surge amulet is a must and Cruors Embrace gloves are good but they are not needed, dont need ubers either. Your 2nd tempering must be lucky hit to stun for 2 seconds. If all your weapon tempering has both blood attack speed and lucky hit to stun you will have the perfect tempering set up. To get armor to cap 9230 one of your gear might need amour 1k as a stat, by the time its masterworked cap will be reached with that. Gems in jewelry will be uselss by then, armor and all resistences will be capped, jewelry gems are only for leveling and to help with caps before max gear. So in summary, setup your skills and paragon for blood surge build, hunt for gear with the triple combo maximum life, attack speed and overpower damage. Temper blood attack speed and lucky hit chance to stun. Setup all your blood surge affixes, feast, embalmer, hardened bones, starlight, curse aura (put a point or two in decrepify and ironmaiden) etc. Your early gear will need +3 or 4 essense in the beginning. When your essence is finally stable and can attack 10 times a second, swap out + essence for attack speed or health or over power damage, can keep some if essence gets low. Happy blood surging

T7 hordes 25 for every 20 orbs collected . Most avrage 400 to 500 orbs with midlevel gear . One run can net you upwards of 625 ores . For 5 mins works .

You are using Volatile blood shards which are the ones that explode. They dont heal or give you essence If you use embalmer aspect instead you spawn way more Blood Orbs. Which heal and give essence partially fixing your essence issue until you can get Ring of Starless skies

@@erikgorn yeah I realised that after a while. I changed my off hand aspect because it was for a skill I wasn't using and didn't think about them being the volatile ones. It's changed in the videos I have scheduled for the next few days

Infernal hordes T7 way easier and faster to get your neathiron for mastering in season 5 just take materials all the way in the end. I got my gear mastered with Blood Surge Necro in a few hours. I can't really tell from your build but it seems that your attack speed is not that high. Getting that up grants you overpower again in a really brief time so you hit them constantly in a matter of seconds. But yeah... its hard to say whats what just looking at the progress from your vid.

@@narmagil7524 my issue ia if I up attack speed I run out of essence really fast. I have some extra generation and reduced cost but it's not enough. I need a Doombringer for the extra heals and in turn essence generation. But I've never been lucky with Uber drops

@@mephesh I've recorded a full build video this morning and it should be out in 5 days I think so you can compare our setups and I'm still going with no Ubers.

@@barnysgaming yeah for sure, its important to understand how the builds work without ubers, Ive tried to understand the necro builds as much as possible. Ive ran everything, full minions, no minions, shadow mages, blood surge, army of the dead glitch, essence build, gave up on all the bone builds. Necro is prob the hardest to get going, I quit a few times and rerolled when my build became bricked. Once you progress so far and start to die and slow down its time to reassess your build or maybe roll another necro for comparison. I rolled 3 necros and kept their builds so I can swap back, share items and generally just work out how to progress when bricked.

@@mephesh wow your dedicated to it then. I normally just brick my build then start again farming gear but this one I'm very happy with and it still has room to grow.
