I may well be completely wrong and everything will be of benefit but initially it seems that they just add a new bunch of layers to prolong the fishing for what you want process. More essentially pointless Tiers to work through, runes, endlessly leveling paragons those things you now need to get to use to enhance your chances of getting stuff and on and on. I mean does any of this make playing any more enjoyable?

Yes. Short answer yes. Long answer is that the progress and journey each season is suppose to be wide and deep. They need to add complexity and purpose to the game because that's what 99.9% of players want.

Yeah, you should be able to play through the new campaign with existing Eternal characters. You can also start a Spiritborn and play through the entire campaign with the new class if you want to do so.

Is there a game before the endgame? Originally, d4 had no endgame. No noticeable improvements have been made to the game, the campaign. You can't replay the campaign except with a new character.

If you are playing seasonal or making an alt then you would be making a new character anyways. Everyone I play with makes 3 or 4 seasonal characters each season. I am guessing that you are in the 1% who play Eternal on one character? I could be wrong. But D4 is designed to be a seasonal game hence making new characters. I hear the situation in the eternal realm is really bad but I don't feel sorry for eternal realm players because they are too stubborn and lazy to play seasonal, instead sticking to their single main.

@@alessioleporati1478 I played d1, 2, and 3. They all had an extensive campaign. d4 didn't even have an endgame. My comment is about the campaign. I play seasons and all of the characters. I don't see the draw in replaying pits, helltides, and dungeons, over and over, to level up and get better equipment to play them again - wash, rinse, repeat. I would prefer to replay an extensive campaign and then play it at higher levels. Playing the campaign, you have to go out of your way to find enemies. d4 was designed and sold on its campaign to defeat Lilith. Why would anyone expect to play the campaign once, on a low level character? The campaign has been abandoned for an endgame that is mind numbingly repetative.

No endgame was added to the base game. You have to pay for the endgame, and everyone is just patting Blizzard on the back for it. Not to mention that this supposed endgame activity is multi-player only when even according to blizzard, 85% of players play solo. Gamers just proving time and time again that they are the reason this industry as a whole gets worse and worse.

Because runewords are broken and ruined some aspects of D2? Making pretty much the whole game obsolete teleporting everywhere, killing the objective and leaving the game 1-3 minutes later.
