This DLC isn't the best as a whole, but some of the moments in this fight are straight fire. Watching Akarat force himself back to his feet, using his energy to stagger the wolf - it makes it feel like a battle. "You are a given - but we are miracles, each!" That is a GREAT line.

In the expansion, you effectively accomplish pretty much what you could in like 1 or even 2 acts, and even like that, you don't actually do anything besides "free neyrelle", which by itself could be done in a single act instead of a whole expansion. All Diablo games focused around fighting a "Big Bad" in the end, and in that one, you fight a remote-controlled oversized dog... That's why is "Filler", it's literally filling up context for a future expansion, like a lore drop. In the end, this was a huge "Prologue", because there's nothing done after it, in a sense it's even worse because Akarath dies. it's like the writters stoped working halfway into the game's script, saw the Cliffhanger of Mephisto rising and, instead of doing 2 more Acts where you track him and eventually defeat him, by some reason, a intern opened his mouth and said "Oooooh what if we end now as a Cliffhanger???"... And they just went with it.

It would seem i saved some money not buying this expansion. Too bad, Diablo 2's expansion was awesome, and i liked reaper of souls from diablo 3, but honestly Diablo 4's concept of a game model seems inherently flawed. This isn't a boss, its a mob storm with a big target in the background. If i had bought this expansion it would have been to fight some awesome bosses not... whatever this is supposed to be. There's no comparing diablo 3 to this mess, every single boss in diablo 3 was far more interesting that these. Like what was the point of summoning Andariel in diablo 4 again? or Duriel?! He comes out of nowhere again! At least the cinematics look awesome, but at this point it feels like style over substance and the important ones just feel like they don't exist.
