Congratulations, my friend! It's such a delight to watch your playthroughs, with your spontaneous and quirky commentary! From what I experienced in Diablo 2, I believe gameplay favors the Barbarian. The tricks of the Assassin, Paladin and Sorceress are pretty cool, but progression in building them is far more tedious. Playing with the Necromancer can be quite satisfying often. Rising an army of skeletons, and cursing your melee enemies with Iron Maiden, nothing like it! At least for the first two acts playing the Sorceress, you get away with a lot using Blaze.

Something I've been wanting to do for a long time. Necromancer is one of my fav classes, would always play that or Paladin as a kid. So it'll be awesome to come back to it after all this time!

Congrats finishing the game(mod)! Damn its lot harder than the Original game was, I cannot complete it with a 30lvl Rogue, I completed the original, and made so many classes in that game. xD Diablo has got really OP stats on normal, its tough. Even the knights possible to ONE SHOT on normal with their rush ability. I think Diablo 2 is the best, more tactics possible, even without mods just simple better game, not needed to skyrocket the difficulty up to the skies.

I just got finished playing diablo 1 for the first time ever and I found the fight with the dark lord to be a bit underwhelming in my case because all I did to beat him was aggro him, run around a corner to draw him away from the swarm of advocates and then stun locked him till he died, taking no damage from him at all as he couldn't even attack.

At least you finally equipped the awesome shield and ditched the shit blue one. Still didn't find the awesome attack speed armour from your chest, though. You even asked some episodes ago if there was any armour which gave you haste while having it in your stash.

Awesome!! I've been doing the same here at home... Playing all Diablo games in a series... I'm playing Belzebub, currently in Nightmare difficulty... oh boy it's MUCH harder than normal... I probably won't play in Hell difficulty, it's way too much... I'll skip to D2 then... but the journey through Nightmare was very good and challenging... you should try!!! It's beyond hard already, never forget to always go for maximum on all 4 protections!!!

Diablo 1 will always be my favorite Diablo. It's a hack and slash dungeon crawler in its purest form. Now wandering around trying to find the next dungeon. The dungeons are all right there...You just fill up on potions, make sure all your gear is repaired and you're ready to go looting. D2 is a fun game to go looting in, as well...It's obviously much more robust in its features and loot system. Unfortunately, D3 made looting less fun. A lot of the time if you can't find it you can just craft it, and I find that to be utterly anti-climactic. The joyous feeling you get when you finally find that thing that you've been looking for is completely lost in D3 when all you have to do is go craft the item.

Although I've now played through all of Diablo 1, 2 and 3 on the channel, I'm giving the games a break for a bit. Perhaps when more news on Diablo 4 breaks, I'll come back to this game! :)

BTW - Since you're going to play Diablo 2, is there a "belzebub-like" version of D2 ?? I mean, with seamless 4K support and added content. There are some patches that don't support D3D, only software and idk if it's good enough... If you know about it please tell me!! Thanks!

I've heard there was an HD type mod somewhere in the works, but I never ended up finding a download for it or anything. I think the mod may have been cancelled a few years back. I know it was single player only, however. If I find anything else out about it in the future I'll do a video on it.

That's actually the first time I've heard about, that would've been insane, no pun intended. Diablo 1 certainly is a title I'd like to play a second time over, but with a guide. But I will admit that it was a lot of fun learning everything on my own, and not trying to search up those guides, as I feel, like many games, you can optimize the fun right out of it.

@@Akabane101 Had a blast with a necro without any summons (only bone tree and curses). Using bone walls for crowd control is lot of fun, and you learn new ways to use them effectively as you progress in the game, so that's not only the character that gain XP, but also the player.

this video refuses to show up in my subscriptions, so I'm a bit late showing up. You got some lovely drops, that celestial bow with -100% requirements is the absolute twink item for a ranged user. So, Spoilers .... you got the cannon ending. The other corrupted classes ended up as lesser bosses in various places in diablo 2, but it's the warrior that becomes the boss in D2. Now, I'd suggest you take what you've stashed, twink yourself a second class and play through again. See if you can do a one run clear, top to bottom. That'll also farm up some better stuff. I'd say don't any class more then once through. Once you think you've got enough, give nightmare a try... but don't expect to clear.
