I've found an old copy of Diablo in my parents house. I've installed it & began to play. Somewhere I got stuck (warrior & dusty player) & tried to get some help on KZbin when I found this speedrun. Run started off slow, but what a payoff! Runner was so positive, even during the mistakes and bad RNG. The reaction to his friend's donation at 35:50 is something I wouldn't mind seeing more in GDQs.

this is the highlight of GDQ 2018 best run, not because it was fast or something epic happened, but because funkmaster mp and the reactions are genuine, nothing trying to boost the morale like in awfull block or when people try to take over for the runner having a super hard thing to do, it's genuine fun and laughter and funkmaster did everything he could to make such a RNG run be interesting

Delzanzius The quotation marks are unneccessary and frankly a poor attempt at trivializing my critisism. The organization can put in all the interruptions they want and I won't care, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate a speedrun whenever the runners are allowed to talk for once. My opinion about the donations is one commonly shared among the community that watches GDQ. So naturally, it will be shared in the comment section. If that upsets you, then perhaps you are scrolling too far down the web page.

L I don't come here for the cancer stories but I don't feel like it ruins the event. My mom had cancer and she passed away last year, it's really inspiring and empowering to hear all of these stories about how these people beat cancer. If all you guys are interested is in the speed run and not the commentary then you can go to Twitch or speedrun.com or speeddemonarchives.com , there are plenty of places where you can watch just speedruns.
