Damn sorry for the late reply. It's possible but it takes a bit longer to kill enemies and since this platinum takes very long a bit longer can stack into very long so I wouldn't recommend it.

Sorry for the late reply, yes it is recommended because while unlikely maybe it uploads automatically after losing a character/GG item. Manually uploading is the safest way.
