Just rolled my first one and got 5/5/4. So nervous took me a good 15sec to actually look. I cant imagine the stress of rolling higher runewords, or god forbid messing up your runeword.

This is one runeword I don't like because well, you have to have it on almost every build. Like Inifnity is not always mandatory or even Enigma, Call To arms, not barbarian, got to have it.

Finally was able to create this awesome runeword and the god of luck was nice! Got an almost perfect one. +5 Battle Command +6 to Battle Orders +4 to Battle Cry

This was SOOO helpful. Thank you. Now I know what people are doing when they buff their Werewolf haha xD Alright. Time to hunt for some runes. Iam only playing offline on my Nintendo Switch so it might take a while. I never found a high rune that was better than an IST Rune and Iam playing more than 400 hours now :/

@@andrewcontreras7190 I actually was able to build this "Call to Arms" + "Chain of Honour" + "Enigma" and even found a ZOD Rune. I dunno what happened but in these 6 months I was blessed with so many good rune drops

Do you get +3 from Tals set? Or does it have to say plus to "skills" rather than "sorc skills"

we tested it pretty conclusively the other day on live stream. It needs to be "all Skills" to work on it. We even tried a barbarian torch since it's a barbarian skill and no effect.

It makes you really wonder if it's better to buy one or make one yourself. The fact that the stats vary so much and a failure doubles the cost (or even more depending on how unlucky you get) clearly speaks against building it yourself. On the other hand buying a good one is outrageous expensive...

Why did they put Battle Cry on a buff stick, and not Shout, I wonder? If it's on swap like a buff stick should be, I can't see switching between the 2 weapon sets all the time to cast Battle Cry on mobs, other than maybe on a Dragon Tail trapsin or some very undergeared Paladin? Was just looking at my shiny new self-found OHM and wondered what base to use and boy, I'm so glad I got your vid suggested here.

So if I get this right, I'd be better off with a Mara's Kaleidoscope and a Harlequin Crest (aka "Shako") then, lets say a circlet and an amulet with +2 Amazon skills on each. The Torch -and the Anni- and all the "skillers" won't help either, since they're not granting +1 to all skills. A Spirit shield, a Stone of Jordan or an Arachnid Mesh belt would be good though. edits: Annihilius does give +1 to all Skills.

Yes all Class specific skills will not work with CTA's O skills, while all generic all skills will.

Can I use an ethereal knout for the base, or would a normal 5os flail be recommended? Edit. I don't really care about the requirement stuff, since I have more than enough stat to cover more stat intensive gear.

People generally use a flail for the low stats. If you don't care about stats yes a knout works fine

Weird question here: if you had + Warcry charms on a different class would the Battle Orders get that additional plus to skills?

Good thinking, I had the same thought and tested it. The answer is no they won't add to it on a non barbarian class.

i have 2 mals / 2 puls / 1 um / 1 ohm. If i convert 2 puls into um, 2 ums into mal, 2 mals into ist, then i can make CTA. Would that be best use out of runes I have? or are there anything else you can suggest with those runes? thanks in advance!

Cta can often roll very poorly. If you are a character with heavy + to skills the it might not matter but if you are a character with not a lot of + skill equipment it could be devastating to get a very low roll. That being said I can't really give you good advice without knowing what character you are playing. Mal runes, um runes, pul runes all have very good uses which could get your good equipment if you are lacking. Mal is good for the druid armor rain. Um is good for several armors including duress, and stone.

@@GGMentor ah i see; i have mf sorce (blizzard/lightning), amazon (lightning fury/freezing arrow), assassin (traps and kick) and poison nova necro. I really need some good armor for amazon and necro (right now using shaftstop w 15ias jewel on amazon, and using trang set for necro except helm). If there are good armors i can make for amazon/necro with those runes, I’d go for them. If not, then might try CTA. Thanks for your advice!

I have a 3/5/4 CTA. Is there any benefit besides longer buff times to get a 6/6/4 CTA?

Since CTA is affected by Plus to skills you can beef it up as much as you need to with bonus skill equipment. The Increase in effectiveness is minimal between 3 and 6. but if you were a character with very few plus skill items I could see the 6/6/4 being something you would seek because then you would need a higher base to help make the skill effective.

as far as I am aware it does not. I have edited in 8 or more identical items before all with a runeword in it and they have all ended up different. So I think that conclusively proves the base has nothing to do with it.

which weapon I can use for call to arms only flail or it is possible to use crystal sword too? For crystal sword I not need 35 dexterity. Because I not to skill it for sorces.

Pretty sure flail is the best base

The dev group at ActiBlizz should also consider to remove the class specific requirements on the Grand Charm "skillers", so we can use them cross-class for things like (Barbarian) Warcries, CTRL+click all them to stash, then CTRL+click the "class related" skillers back to inventory. This would bring D2:R yet to another level of performance.

Any 5 socket weapon yes. Generally, CTA is not used as a main weapon so most of the time it's put in a lesser base to lower requirements. But if you want to put it in a higher base and use it as an actual weapon, you certainly can

@@giorgosmaragos7973 for a blizzard sorc you usually don't wanna use a phase blade because of the high dex requirements. Something like a crystal sword, a flail, or a double axe would be better for low requirements

I mean it's basically a cruel grand matron bow of the quickness. I could see that being a viable bow. If you wanna do it go for it, it will be a nice bow even if it's not the best. The downside of making it in a gmb is you can't use it on anything other then Amazon so you won't be able to share it between characters

Just for anyone like me reading this in the future, CTA on a Grand Matron bow has a minimum Dex requirement of 187. That means most Zons won't be using this until near endgame level and even then it's not better than Windforce or Faith.

Ist runes are extremely common trading currency. Like dollar bills, I often have more trouble getting a mal rune than I do ist runes. I will have anywhere between 5-10 ist runes on hand at any given time and 1-2 mals. Granted you can trade the Ist for two mals or just eat it and do a 1:1
