As much as I love whirlwind, a 9 is way too high id put it at like a 7 but with a gearing of 9.5 because if you put time in and perfect the gear it definitely has the potential fo be a 9 in power. But its still far too weak in comparison to the other builds until you get some good ancients and caldessans on your gear.

I was thinking a 9 with perfect gear. Just gearing to run the build though I agree it's probably a 7.

my barb has near perfect WW gear all primals and i have HOTA near perfect gear i found WW is more powerful, or it could be my skill level is better with WW

With the right density WW is stronger for sure but HOTA also does very well single target so thinking about the differences in damage between the two with and without density, I assumed HOTA overall to be slightly stronger. I could be wrong :P

Rend still just isn't that good in general. I don't use ground stomp much either but it's more useful for grouping and blowing up groups with area damage.

This is kinda an old video and it was only ranking the "most popular" builds, not every build possible. Also 2 charge builds are different.
