With the attack speed cap of 100%, may be more beneficial to run the crit smoke screen pants and swap multi for smoke screen. Just an idea since you can't have 117% AS.

this build is a bit older, check out the pvp build called windforce as it's currently one of the stronger pve builds. Run flamespite instead of tiresomerebuke.

Hello keyes. I'm a F2P Demon Hunter (i'm spending only on battle pass), and i would like you to tell me if it's a good move to replace Fervent Fang (which will take some time to upgrade it into Rank 10) with another 1* or 2* gem? Or should I replace any of the 3* I have (maybe Seeping Bile), since it'll also take some time to upgrade them into Rank 5? I want to play with the new Knockback build, but I haven't found the new helmet and chest essences yet, and my thoughts as for the Fervent Fang replacement are either Pain Clasp (i have enough in order to upgrade one into Rank 5 and use it), or maybe Blessed Pebble. So what do you suggest? Or is my setup ok and i shoukd stay with it and try to upgrade the gems i already have? My setup is this: Berserker's Eye - Rank 8 Ca'arsen's Invigoration - Rank 8 Bottled Hope - 3*, Rank 3 Fervent Fang - Rank 5 Blood-Soaked Jade - 3*, Rank 3 Seeping Bile - 3*, Rank 2 Thanks

the thing with fervant fang is, you'll eventually get enough dupes with the battlepass, making it relatively cheap. I prefer bloody reach over berserker's eye for pvp, but for PvE it's probably okay. I would focus on awakening your Ca'arsen's ASAP. Your gems look solid though. Other gems have use cases like abiding curse and pain clasp, but the new build (knockback) would require the use of flamespite to make pain clasp worth it.

I don't understand how your character does so little damage with 20k damage and almost 7k resonance, with my mage who has 1k resonance and 10k damage I crit 183k 250k 365k

It turns cancels vengence, so don't the button because it'll go on CD. Lot's of people make that mistake.

Tried a few games to make this build work, in the top brackets it's just not feasible without having a solid front line. The problem isn't damage or attack speed, it's getting 1-2 shot from monks, cc'd till death from necro's and not being able to stop barbs in undying rage. With the current meta I just don't like how this build plays, but you can still have fun with it if you aren't the carry for your team.

You can make that build work as well, you'll just lose a bit of attack speed for damage. Definitely viable. PvP this build struggles in the current meta due to requiring a strong front line for you.

I already want to copy this very top build of yours, my doubt is, which paragon do you use, I usually use gladiator because of the quick recovery that helps a lot with vithu neck !!! another doubt in how long you managed to drop the new legendary items of this new build??? i tried this build in pvp and i dont recommend it. For pve, treasure hunter, brawler, or duelist. Make sure you're in h8 as the new lego's only drop there.

i believe one of the essences only dropped in the highest hell difficulty and i am not sure if that's still locked to h8 or not. You can look at the essence transfer vendor and confirm the difficulty all the pieces can drop in. But the short answer is, you can if you can get the legendaries.

Hey Keyes, nice videos. Shimshon, 2700 res str-based class switcher here, currently dh. I’ve been in the top west coast bracket for a while, which can hurt lol. First question: which offhand would you use as a 2700 res dh with no awakened items? The impale burn one? What about the one that buffs impale’s damage if the enemy is suffering harmful effects? Do you think that could be good with seeping bile and/or some other build tweak? Second question: any good pvp builds with the latest essences? I’ve been testing the new impale essence in pvp (new impale w bleed offhand, smoke screen w crit pants, escape w forward roll shoulders and invisibility helm, and vengeance w reduced cd chest). I feel like the greater theoretical sustained dps doesn’t quite make up for the loss of multi shot burst, but I definitely want to try something similar with the new chest when I get it. Thoughts? Cheers.

For your first question, i think it's about the same damage just over time. Things die so fast, I would just use the hungerer. For your second question: I tried to make a PvP build last night on stream and it went terrible. Control is just too good in PvP and it wins matches. Having raw damage and fast attacks does nothing against barbs undying rage. I would not recommend this build in PvP. Stick to the control DH or ss/urge builds.

Well it doesn't, use crit pants you can activate it twice during the vengeance window or the all damage increase during vengeance

do a frame by frame, you'll see primary attack speed is independant of the attack speed cap.

@@keyeslol I did 3 tests of each with and without the swing and damage was the same. Vithu's don't seem to stack with the chest but vithu's does with the swing. Might be wrong but I'm waiting for yyyar to test more accurately than me xD
