Man they changed quite a few things in this anime. Diablo is showing more emotion when he's supposed to act like a demon Lord 100% of the time and he never reveals he's a magician or what level he is. That's a part of the mystery and makes people question whether or not he's actually a demon Lord.

Well one glaring obvious change I can see is the demon knight. Her breasts aren't that big, she's more on the flatish side. Another thing is diablo will always inner monologue things rather then say them outside. The only thing he says on the outside are things related to him screaming he's a demon lord or taunting someone or just being overbearing overall. Obviously his personality is different from his roleplay but for most of the time, he doesn't break that roleplay character. Maybe I'm remembering wrong but, he also never states his level to others or that he's a chemical mage. People can figure out his a mage but he always shouts "I'm a demon lord of another world" instead.

Nah, not a separate adaption. The story and scenarios are roughly the same. There is no real difference, it's just they changed a bit of dialogue and character design. It was the same when it went from light novel to manga as well. They changed the guild masters outfit to something slightly less revealing. The anime seems to have the original but just a tad bit more covered up. For the most part, it seems they made diablo act with a bit more comedic emotion rather then using his cool guy demon lord facade.

Some say it's an overlord copy but really it's quite different for one thing he's an actual demon lord and not a Lich, two he's not vicious or ruthless like ainz is, he also doesn't have a group of servants unlike ainz, he's a chemical mage if I remember while ainz is a type of sorcerer or something like that, also he seems less of a manipulator and more of a combatant unlike ainz who seems like a less douchey version of sasuke aizen while this guy is more like a mage version of ichigo
