Objectively it is the best option, but their egos would never accept it. They barely accepted just the idea that their army lost to what must they must thing is a village of savages. Plus, we saw how that one noble Carlos was trying to force Youm to use his relationship with Rimuru to manufacture a better position from which to start negotiations. He even had the gall to tell him to 'present our demands', which sounds a lot like 'our terms of your surrender' to me, especially considering his arrogance. Either way, the words had an equal share of a place on their end of the situation (none at all, if it wasn't clear).

The beginning of the Saint-Monster Confrontation arc. I'm so happy I'm going to try and keep any potential complaints about the adaptation underwrap until I've seen the full season. My biggest hope is to see Hinata's backstory since they cut the prologue of Volume 4 from Season 2. I hope they put it back in with the part of Hinata's backstory from Volume 7. ======== The opening surprisingly doesn't spoil anything that the trailer didn't already spoil in my opinion (though I'd ask for some others just in case). Same with the ending. They're pretty good too. ======== Yuuki Kagurazaka is the Grandmaster of the Free Guild/Free Union/Freedom Association (whatever translation you prefer) and the Headmaster of the Freedom Academy. ======== Valentine features heavily in Visions of Coleus if you want to see more from her. ======== To explain how Diablo restored the Falmuth guys: Diablo used the Law Manipulation sub-skill of his Unique Skill Seeker to break Shion's curse she put on them with Master Chef. Then Diablo used a Full Potion to heal them as you saw with Edmaris later on. *Seeker* (also called Great Wise Man) is one of Diablo's Unique Skills. Sub-Skills: -Thought Acceleration: Accelerates the user's thought processing speed by up to a thousand times. -Chant Annulment: Eliminates the need for chanting when using magic after a spell is analyzed or successfully cast. The spell is stored in the user's mind and available to be instantly cast just by thinking about its activation. -All of Creation: Allows the user to comprehend anything as long as they have a basic understanding of it and it is perceivable to the user. -Law Manipulation: Enables the manipulation of the laws of the world from either a magical or scientific perspective. How effective it is used depends on the user's abilities. If the user is not in possession of sufficient affinity for the respective laws or not in possession of enough knowledge about the scientific or magical laws and the way they operate, they will not be able to fully bring out the skill's power. I will fully explain the Unique Skill Tempter at a later date. Needless to say, you haven't seen all it can do yet. ======== Recap on Shion's Master Chef if no one told you how it works: *Master Chef* is the Unique Skill that Shion obtained after Rimuru's Harvest Festival. Sub-Skills: -Certain Outcome: A heinous ability that directly alters the laws of the world, similar to an Ultimate Skill. It allows the user to freely change the result of an action or the state of an object into their desired outcome, no matter how improbable. It is possible to permanently alter the status of a living being or object to make an unnatural state their natural state, which makes any form of healing useless. The only way to counter this is to also be able to manipulate the laws of the world such as via Law Manipulation or an Ultimate Skill and then manage to overcome the user's will with their own will. -Optimal Action: Allows the user determine the best course of action in a given situation by allowing them to see through the flow of their movements. It also enables the user to perfectly recreate anything they've done once. For instance, as long as they have scratched an enemy, they can make their attacks always deal damage; or if they've defeated an enemy once, no matter how difficult, they can defeat them again with ease. ========= I love that Diablo made the same Ramen/Razen joke that Shion made accidently in Season 2. ========= All seven of the Primordial Demons have appeared in the anime, four in just this episode: -Noir/Diablo (revealed in S1E24) -Rouge/Guy Crimson (revealed in Season 2) -Bleu/Rain (Guy's blue-haired maid, the reveal was cut from S2E19 for some reason) -Vert/Misery (Guy's green-haired maid, the reveal was cut from S2E19 for some reason) -Violet (appears prominently in Scarlet Bond and Visions of Coleus) -Blanc (cameo at the end of Visions of Coleus) -Jaune (cameo at the end of Visions of Coleus) ========= *Factor* (sometimes referred to as Essence) is a type of information or substance within all living beings both physical and spiritual in nature. It determines or rather is the distinct characteristics that distinguish certain species, subspecies, and so on. It serves a similar or complementary role to DNA, albeit usually more mystical in nature than chemical. For Spiritual Lifeforms who can have completely unique powers and appearances to suit their will, this is often the only way to distinguish their origin and separate them into distinct "species." Sure, Treyni underwent a kind of monsterization last season when she evolved into a Dryas Doll Dryad upon receiving a Chaos Core and a mobile material body but these bozos don't know that. ========== Diablo already _was_ one of the best characters since his introduction. ========== 10,000 Stellars = ¥1,000,000,000,000 Yen = $6,595,350,000 USD 1 Stellar = 100 Dwarven Gold Coins = 10,000 Silver = 1,000,000 Bronze Dwarven Coins are precious metal coins minted by dwarves in the Armed Nation of Dwargon. They are the most widely circulated currency in the world. Each dwarven coin is enchanted with Engraving Magic and is rigorously regulated with serial numbers, thus the merchants would be able to instantly detect real coins from counterfeits. Stellar Gold Coins are produced with a specialized dwarven process and instilled with a compressed supply of Magicules, giving them an artistic value beyond their monetary one. Dwargon can only produce a single stellar gold coin in a month. They are chiefly reserved for large business transactions and payments between nation-states. With a denomination this large, it is really more like a security certificate. Years later and that absurd number still shocks me. Falmuth's annual tax revenue is 50,000 Stellars by the way. 10,000 Stellars is an absurd number for a medieval kingdom to pay in reparations. ============ Youm _is_ supposed to be the king. Diablo has just begun.

Not really a spoiler but about the primordials ... All of the primordials were show in the anime. Four of them in season 2, one in the movie and the other 2 in the OVAS from Vision of Coleus.

@@Dark00162 The Visions of Coleus OVA made it pretty clear that Yellow and White were primordials even though it didn't explicitly say it. The only primordials that I can understand if people didn't know who they were are Rain and Misery (even though season 2 did hint that they were primordials because when Rimuru saw Misery he commented that she has a similar presence to Diablo). So technically the anime did reveal all the primordials and gave more than enough hints to figure it out on your own. Edit: Technically the game also has all 7 primordial demons in and it also explicitly says that they are the primordials but not that many people play or even know about the game.

@@Dark00162 The game is called Slime Isekai Memories. It's a mobile game and I personally think it's pretty fun. It has a TON of unique stories that you don't get in the anime, manga and LN. In the game Rimuru also has a daughter named Shinsha and she's pretty cool too. The game also recently had a crossover with Overlord and that story was also pretty unique and fun. So as you can probably tell, the game is a separate continuity that doesn't just follow the main story (it's still written by Fuze so I'd say the stories are just as good as the main story).

The anime has shown all 7 primordial demons already. We saw Noir, Rouge, Bleu and Vert in season 2. We saw Violet in the movie and then we saw Juane and Blanc in the Visions of Coleus OVA. Edit: Technically the game also has all 7 primordial demons in and it also explicitly says that they are the primordials but not that many people play or even know about the game.
