Imma keep it real.. I do not care to watch 3 days of him sitting there. The LN literally drags out moments so much it took literally 30 min in an audio book just to get thru one conversation between Rimuru and the merchant dude. Love Tensura but I don't need to be spoon fed every detail like a toddler. Js saying. Of course some things in the the LN are better but small things like that are not. Plus Shion death was a moment I felt nothing about she causes more problems than helps and doesn't do a single notable thing throughout the series so far.

I'm not sure why they cut it from the LN and since it wasn't there it wasn't in the Anime either. During this arc, in the original Web Novel, Shuna gives a brief aside where she says: "Any monster in Tempest would gladly die for Rimuru...... and none of them understand just how much that would hurt him!"

And after this attack, whenever Rimuru goes to war against someone, he tells his subordinates to never get themselves hurt. Even later on he *orders* them not to die, even if they were able to be resurrected or not

Veldora was neither Milim's father, nor the dragon she resurrected. Veldora is the brother of Milim's father...so basically, Veldora is Milim's uncle. It's only very vaguely hinted at by this point, and later is essentially outright confirmed if you're paying attention. But when it's merely hinted, it's still done in a way that really leaves no other valid option.

Don’t forget that the hook of the story is the MC reincarnated as the weakest monster, so he should struggle in the beginning and slowly become stronger but the moment he got reincarnated, he is blessed with an overpowered ability and never actually struggles. On top of that, he domesticated one of the most powerful beings with consumable!
