Gotta get your defences up man. Also, huge huge tip- bank your exalteds. Save them to eventually trade them for rares with the defences and resistance you need. It makes a huge difference.

Having been there, I can absolutely relate- I got RINSED by Count Gooner on my Sorc. It didn't help he has giga cold resist and I went frost build -_- If you want some rings and stuff for resists I may be able to help out, let me know.

Yeah if you're not doing like 300k dps by that point you're doing something wrong lol. It might be your build tho go spark or arc with some cast on shock triggers for comet or that big lighting aoe spell. Stuff on the site is pretty cheap you can buy all the gear you need to make the build work for like 10 exl. Fire ball with cast on mini death comet is really fun. I'd look up a meta build to get an idea of how to make a build and what does what. It will help later when you try to come up with your own build. Arc is really good spell hits like a truck too it will carry you all the way until end game but around the 50's you can start getting items that boost your power even more to make a better build. I'm running the cast on mini death comet build it deletes everything even bosses. I'm at the point in my build where the next thing I can upgrade is my pc to keep up. When buying a wand always try to find one with +1-5 to cold, fire, or lighting skills.
