Now that we are about to enter Season 2, I must give a sort of disclaimer. Season 2 is like the other side of the coin. Season 1 was lighthearted and fun. It was more slice-of-lifey. Season 2 on the other hand is, to put it bluntly, absolute chaos. From Season 2 and onward, That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime will go down a completely different path than where it seemed it would be going with Season 1. You will understand later on that Season 1 was merely the prolougue to something much larger

This show is mostly about politics, business, and building from the ground up. They have these big chaotic hype and events since it’s fantasy but most of it is meetings, the art of negotiation and interaction, and philosophy. All of this is used to build conflict and the climax is always the big bad fights/war. Personally didn’t enjoy Season 2 much but maybe cause i’m looking forward to the other stuff from the LN. Apparently the movie coming out next year is going to be a retelling of the story I guess to make it more like the LN and manga.

Designations for the progenitors were not names. They used color names, typically in French, to differentiate themselves. Thus noir = black, blanc = white, rouge = red, etc. They can acquire names, as we saw at the end, where we learn eventually Rimuru will give noir the name Diablo. An associate of noir's had also referred to him as kuro (Japanese for black).

Maybe. But I'm caught up with Season 2, and I never felt spoiled by what we learned about Diablo here. It was likely meant as a big Easter egg for source readers, and it doesn't tell anime-only's anything plot relevant IMO, except that Rimuru will likely end up with a powerful demon buddy.

Previously Rimuru summoned a demon of black bloodline, but not the primordial Noir, named it Beretta, gave it the magisteel doll body and had it serve Ramiris for I think a century. On top of that, there is more to the demon summoning backstory which is not in the anime, but it is in the season 2 opening. When he decided to save the children, RImuru got in contact with the Blumund branch guildmaster Fuze, who had the 3 adventurers escort him to his office directly. They failed that mission, and Rimuru ended up taking adventurer exams, every rank after other, up to B, maximum rank that a branch office can issue. Fuze was angry that Rimuru had to be involved in this and had to reveal his strength as he was intending to just give him a rank B id without a test, so he gave the 3 adventurers the title The Three Fools of Blumund. These exams involved defeating summoned monsters, the last being a demon, which is where Rimuru learned that from. Needless to say, he defeated all of them with one strike. Also, for B rank exam the guildmaster is supposed to be present, but the examiner just went for it without even taking a rest between. Additionally, in Ingrassia there are 2 guild headquarters. One is just like foreign branches for lower rank adventurers, and the other with the automatic door actually only opens for B rank and above adventurers.

the fact is: Rimiru have the mask, and he give them to Chloe. Chloe in future is a True Hero with Time Travel, she went to the past and meet Shizu child. Chloe become Shizu's Teacher and give her Mask, the Mask go with Shizu until she meets Rimuru and give to him, and Then.. Rimuru go to school and give Chloe Mask and...time loop begin :))

No black despite not having a name yet is an arch demon normally considered impossible without first receiving a name. The demon rimuru summoned for Ramiris was a greater demon who he had possess the golem he then named it Baretta causing it to evolve into a arch golem. Also was explained in the light novel but not in the anime.

I'm not sure if Rimiru summoned him in the OVAs OR he summons him in later episodes and this one just foreshadows it. SPOILERS: In a mission with the kids he summons him for the first time (not realizing who he summoned) I think Rimiru also doesn't remember that. THEN later he summons him fully, names him etc. As of right now in the anime series he exists, is part of the group but they don't really build on him as to who he is, what his desires are, etc.

This Demon isn't the one he summoned for Ramiris. Rimmaru will summon him in season 2. The one he summoned for Ramiris is named Beretta, who is a subordinate of the Demon which Rimmaru will give the name Diablo. Progenitor Black/Noir was upset that one of his subordinates got summoned instead of himself when Rimmaru summoned that demon servant for Ramiris. But things worked out better that way, since he gets to serve Rimmaru while his subordinate serves Ramiris.
