10:40 this is literally word for word what I have been saying, and why i don't buy funko pops for retail even. If I want it I wait till it's on sale. The older funko was most definitely exciting and fun. But being able to buy dang near ANY funko for less than retail from a bunch of different stores is just...wrong haha. Great video guys

As a One Piece fan I was excited to grab one to keep the ship collection going…I was more excited when it said sold out 15 minutes later. Then the restock happened and it kind of just ruined that moment of happiness when you get something that WAS SUPPOSED to be limited.

I felt dumb because I had my phone out at work, under the table, being unprofessional to get it at drop time. Felt so great that i secured it. Then finding out i didn't have to do that at all, made me feel dumb. 🙃

I literally went down to Funko Hollywood and they only had 48 and of course they were allowing people to get two per person so I was not able to get one of outside in the rain, but no biggie because I was still able to get them online but definitely waste of time and gas And it’s really messed up but at least I got what I wanted to get. I find it funny that a lot of people pay $60-$75 for them on eBay.

I got one 🎉 in Europe it lasted until the next day I think, which is a lot longer than usual so I think they made a lot of them. I’m also waiting to see if they actually respect the Funko Shop Exclusive thing or we will see it also with the Special Edition sticker in a couple of months as seems to be the trend. 🙄

I don't think they fooled/restocked. I think they took stock down because of check out issues so the site wouldn't crash and create another issue. After fixing the check out issue I think they put em back up. As of funko as a company they are going to price them self out. They are more worried about stock holders with rolling out to big chain stores than the actual collector

If this actually helps at all (not sure if it does), I noticed when I bought Whitebeard that I didn't get charged Tax at all for my purchase (including other pops for free shipping). It was odd as I've always paid taxes on my orders from their shop. Not sure if they took it down for something related, or if they've just mastered the art of the restock lol

I'm really sorry you're bummed out, but it helps collectors like me get this piece. Those who buy more than one to flex and flip for $150 are ruining it. I'm sure Funko is tired of that and will restock to prevent resellers from profiting.

It's great to get what you want, but also exciting to chase a harder to get piece. We don't get that very often at all with Funko anymore.

@djtitusavila6248 We highly doubt it will carry any sort of value much above retail. And that's ok! We don't mind more common pops, but they are flooding the market heavily with just about everything they produce now. It's a real turn off as two collectors who have been collecting Funko for over 10 years.

@@Gastlecast I miss the thrill of exclusives! Having something that's truly limited is special. I recall this Funko exclusive from 2023 - it had a glow chase variant and it's still one of my favorites. I haven't seen it restocked since the initial two times.

The website issue was because the new "anti-bot" system they put in place... That's why alot of us had to acknowledge the new terms on the site website today. But obviously it screwed everything up

So some clarity on that photo of the guy who got all the chases, the ones on top were from blind bag that people could get 2 per person, he posted a video of hitting some in the blind bags and also from what I heard he had a couple people with him so this is not all from just one person grabbing up chases. Also any chase found in the store is one person per day that is placed on the floor unless they relaxed that restriction. So there was more info for that post of chases than was out there!

They also only place chases out once a day, and they limit the number uou can buy. So its almost impossible to find chases at HQ stores.

Crazy I went to Funko Hollywood and they didn’t even let us buy 2 chases even if I was with some else and it wasn’t even the same chases they even wen to the extent to check my id and we had the same address so they didn’t let my buy one and wife the other chase .
