Hi, glad you got the answers to all the ailments your little one had! We found out our son had a dairy allergy at 6 months, he was a breast fed baby and regularly vomited after feeds, health visitors told us not to worry!. At 6 months we started formula and after first bottle he went bright red and was violently sick. GP started him on Neacote formula and he had a skin prick allergy test and blood test, we found out he was allergic to eggs too! He grew out of both allergies by time he was three, we did have to go to a few milk challenges at hospital due to risks of anaphylactic shock. We gave him bits of baked dairy (eg cakes) around 12 months which may have helped him grow out of his allergies, we had Piriton on hand just in case he had a reaction! From 12 months Alpro growing up milk is a good substitute for milk, we did shop in the free from ranges in supermarkets which are quite vast these days, Sacla pesto has dairy free version to add with pasta which my son loved and still does, you can also get dairy free butter, cheese, chocolate, ice cream, yoghurt etc from most supermarkets! Good luck with your dairy free journey.
