I don’t normally comment but this drama needs it. I have to vent! He wasted years of their marriage breaking her heart and neglecting her. I don’t like that they ended back together in the end even if he has changed. If she would have died, she wouldn’t have had a chance to be happy and be loved all because he was an assh*le! He doesn’t deserve a second chance and definitely doesn’t deserve her at all. And she deserves better! She should have ended up with the second ML!

Writer, you are trying so hard to show us the husband is not a asshole but he actually is and he never loved his wife, otherwise you tell me the husband is a healthy and normal man and how could he loved his wife and sex free with her. So how did he solve his physical needs? Sleeping with so called sister or call girls? So glad for them. He was an idiot for 2 years. She gave up on him and expressed her rage for a few months after liver cancer diagnosis. He tried his best from the minute she started spitting fire at him and another guy entered the picture. Eventually a liver was found at the last second (they had reconciled but she was so over it). She survived the operation but lost her memory. Her abby survived too. ML waited for her to remember him for five years. Their son knew his dad but she did not recognize her husband. After awhile familiar places triggered her memory. Ok by me. 👏

*SPOILER* This was a very good drama. I see a lot of comments criticising the FL for remarrying ML, but if you really, really watched the drama, you'd understand the reasons, although misguided, for his behaviour. There were some really deep, emotional scenes that surprised me and had me 😢 I genuinely cared about both of them and wanted them to stay together. Really good acting, production, and direction. This drama deserves more than just being dismissed because FL didn't walk off into the night and leave ML. There were a couple of storylines that weren't necessary, and the editing was to harsh in some places but this one goes into my rewatch list 🥰

Alright...this script got a lot of hate on the ML character and the ending. I like this FL, so I tend to watch almost anything she is in. 1st - We have to remember none of these dramas have any medical knowledge and always write stupid medical stuff. We just gotta ignore those and move on or else nothing is watchable. 2nd - Although I hated the first 5 minutes where the FL gave up her last ounce of dignity, I found the remainder watchable. The story clearly explains why ML was aloof and cold for 2 years of their marriage. He was forced into an arranged marriage with someone he didn't know by a grandfather who forced his mother to leave, then used her ashes to threaten him to agree to this arranged marriage. FL was also guilted into this arranged marriage by her father. ML was a stranger to her, so why she ended up so into him and willing to give up her dignity for him, only the writer knows. They had absolutely no history until this arranged marriage. 3rd - As for the development of the ML & FL's relationship, there were flashback scenes where he was starting to love her, but he couldn't get over the humiliation of how he was forced into the marriage. She was trying to be the perfect wealthy family wife, but lost herself until her terminal illness diagnosis. As for the ending, a tragic ending would have worked, similar to the story of the older man in the wheelchair. ML wasn’t evil, so a 2nd chance is acceptable for me (minus the crazy medical miracle), but a tragic ending seems a little more fitting for this story. This FL actually had me teary from the scene at the park bench to the scene at the merry-go-round with her childhood memories. I never get teary with these short C-dramas.

Mariage sans amour pour les deux protagonistes conforme à la société ne peut engendrer que de la violence. Ici, le drama est soft à ce niveau mais le poid de la soumission des femmes est bien mis en évidence. Cette femme est seule depuis toute petite et n'a été qu'un échange financier. Elle cherche désespérément de la tendresse avant de mourir et finit par chercher sa liberté. Et, ce n'est guère mieux pour son époux. Pour info, la première loi contre les violences conjugales date de 2016. Les dramas sont de culture chinoise donc à mettre dans ce cadre. En parallèle, je tiens à préciser quand France, la vraie loi qui a fait pour l'égalité des femmes date de 1965. Il s'agit du régime du mariage réduit aux acquêts car il donne les mêmes droits aux deux partenaires notamment le droit parental. Plus besoin de l'autorisation de père de famille pour travailler, avoir un compte... Et la liberté économique, c'est le plus grand frein aux violences. Par principe, quand il y a une forme de dépendance, le risque est la violence.

first. a new low. now the immoral act of letting children drug and adult is coming into the drama?? you dont know how on every level that is wrong? second.. the ml is , which ever way you look at it.... he favoured another woman over his wife and humiliated her. he had noting to say but bad about her. she got forced into the marriage , he also got forced and blackmailed by his own grandfather (who is also a bad man who should be repenting for his bad deeds and causing he death of the ml mother.) but he difference is, the fl tried to make the marriage work, she was nice to him but he choose to be nasty to fl and make out like its all her fault he had to marry her!!?? so the reasons for the marriage is no excuse for being an a$$ with. not heart or brains. third. fl was very brave just a pity her character did nt carry it thru to the end. a man like the character of the ml is not one any woman would fall for ( what was there in his character to love?? unless you like being hated on) if he is treating you like he does. so once again we have a script that makes the woman get back with a man who treated her badly (adn in the end making it look like no matter how BADLY a man treats you, you have to go bald to him. TO GET SOME MORE OF THE SAME!!!) because he ws forced to marry her. so he had the option she gave , divorce her. simple as. this drama ending up as one big happy family is to outlandish, both the leads dad and grandfather are horrible people who did not pay for thier crimes against thier children. I would not want my children growing up amongst ppl of their kind. one selling hs Daugher the other forcing hs grandson. this drama should have ended with her death. NOT some unrealistic fairy tale ending that once again makes a woman out to be brain dead.
