Diagnosing a charging issue on my 2007 Honda Pilot

The alternator was bad. Long way of showing that fact in the video 😄

@RedQuasar13 no worries. It's a good video, very detailed info. I have a 2007 pilot, the battery won't hold a charge if I let the car sit for too long. But if I drive it regularly I don't have a problem with it. I'm confident It's time to replace the battery. Thanks again for the video

My 2003 pilot not charging, I replace new alternator still not charging. I do have the 12 volt on that black/yellow wire when turn on ignition. When you talking about signal on the osiloscope ur finger point at 1 thing and u talk about others so it’s kind of hard to follow. I think the only big difference in your case is that field regulation square signal that show up after u replace the alternator. I wonder if I got a brand new but defected alternator

Not certain - you could have a bad one. I watch Eric O. on South Main Auto channel and he gets replacement parts that are bad sometimes.
