Can central vertigo be cured?

Hi Steve, I reached out to Darren (presenter of this video) and he replied with the following: "The development of videonystagmography with compact but higher resolution video cameras and software utilising advanced pupil tracking algorithms, allows clinicians to capture much more accurate data on eye movement. These eye movements enable detailed examination of the functional status of brain structures and anatomical regions to help localise the presence of an impairment. It is this information that medical clinicians can use to help make a diagnosis of what might be causing central mediated dizziness, allowing for medical management options to be targeted to the pathology and reducing the functional impairment." Central vertigo refers to vertigo caused by a problem in the brain. There are many disease conditions affecting the brain that may cause vertigo, including such things as strokes, multiple sclerosis, intracranial tumors, etc. As such, there is no cure for central vertigo, but rather, possible cures or treatments for certain conditions that cause central vertigo.
