very informative, loved the video angles and the explanation on what you were trying to figure out and the tools you used!!

it's hard to say from a video but I believe that issue is probably electrical due to a blown sensor. Maybe the TPS? But for sure fixing vacuum leaks will help!

@stephanevallet2235 Hey thanks for the help! I may have cheated a bit and tested my sensors with a multimeter beforehand but that's a common problem with these for sure! This car is a weird mix of stock and aftermarket anyway so I'll be replacing most everything as I go in the rebuild.

I noticed that you have two pressurized radiator caps. One on the radiator, and one on the thermostat housing near the alternator. This is a common mistake with rotaries. You only need the one pressurized cap on the radiator. The other cap on the thermo housing is a flat cap from factory, meaning there is no spring in it. It is only used for filling. When you have two pressurized caps, it can cause overheating issues and air pockets. Ask me how I know :) Good luck with the vacuum leak issues 🙏

@markhutchinson3367 thanks for the info! I have heard a stock radiator has no cap on the S4 but the koyorad ones do which would explain my duplicate. So far no overheating issues on the car but good to prevent them for the future

Any progress on your leak fix?

@tokirak yeah actually! The UIM and fuel system are taken off and later today I'm hoping to head out into the garage and get the turbo off so I can pull the LIM. At that point I'll be able to start getting the new stuff assembled. I'm recording it so hopefully I'll have an update on here soon
