Diagnosing & Repairing Sprinter Secondary Alternator

In this video we troubleshoot why our alternator is not charging our Volta Battery system. We start by testing the main alternator and then move back through the system eliminating things along the way.
This van is about to go on a two week journey around the Pacific Northwest so it's pertinent that it's in perfect running order.

1000ah at 48volts? The van is 48kWh of battery? Or did you mean at 12v equivalent? So 12kWh?

I always thought Outside Vans were one of the better van builders. I understand there is always going to be some QC with any thing in life, but to see pocket hole joinery and cheep wood framing in their cabinets was surprising considering their premium pricetag.
