Sure thing! Basically it's just a noise gate. I find it better to have it between the amp the cab, than using the 'Input gate' at the start of the signal chain. I think I picked this up from one of ML Sound Labs video (by the great Mikko), and this is just a much much subtle version of it. You can find the video here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWmVZaSDl6qeaaM. It can help to cut off some of the buzz and unwanted noise that would come along with a high gain preset. Hope this helps!

Any chance you could show the ‘Input Gate’ settings at the very beginning of the signal chain in your preset videos and explain why you chose those specific settings?

Sure! I rarely touch the input gate settings and mostly keep it stock(they are stock here as well). but it might be a good setting to go through at the start of the preset. I will try to keep it in mind. Cheers.
