Another great video, Gurtej. Although I think the '12' in '4x12' is for the diameter of the speaker, not the radius.

Thanks Buddy. You are correct, I probably made a mistake there. Thanks for correcting me!

These tutorials are brilliant in so many ways….for those of us (and there’s lots of us) that paid big bucks for the Axe 2 years ago, your videos are priceless. Thanks to Leon too! Keep up the great work Gurtej…

Thanks for the shout out Gurtej. And most important thanks for the great info and concepts. I'll definitely be diggin in a little deeper into the cab tweaks. I like the long form deep dive videos however the short attention span videos have their place to. The the google play length analytics will tell the whole story. Thanks bud and keep the typical fantastic videos coming.

Thanks a lot buddy. I wanted to actually create something which probably would cover everything needed perhaps, I know the video is probably too long haha. You are correct though, shorter videos have their own place. Hope you enjoyed the content. Cheers!

Is there a way to change where the mic is placed? I guess prox. means the distance to or from the speaker, but an option on where to place it like up down left right aka on cone off axis ect.
@GurtejSinghGuitar10 ай бұрын
Great question. I don't think you can actually change the mic position in the axe fx 2. I think some firms that create custom IR's do sometimes create different IR options based on mic position, but I could be wrong too. I've always used stock IR's and they pretty much do the trick for me. But I do agree, mic position would have been great!
@dba429210 ай бұрын
@@GurtejSinghGuitar Oh ok. Too bad but at least we get mic distance to and away from in Proximity right? :-)
@GurtejSinghGuitar10 ай бұрын
@dba4292 yes, the proximity feature works great for creating some distance between the speaker and the mic

@@GurtejSinghGuitar Awesome :-) Thanks. Can I ask you, how did you get so good at creating tones and dialing in frequencies? Your presets are scary good and I found some Iron Maiden ones too that blew me away. Are you a sound engineer perhaps or studied the subject in school?
@GurtejSinghGuitar10 ай бұрын
@@dba4292 Apologies for the late reply, and thank you so much for such amazing feedback, I cannot thank you enough. I am not a sound engineer by any means, and I'm probably not qualified enough to be one :). I am just another guy. I've played in many bands before, so I kind of developed a passion towards tone, and I think that drives the hours and days I spend to recreate a tone. I love doing it, but sometimes it takes weeks, but if I can get close enough, it makes me really happy. I am glad you like the content on the channel and that you appreciate it, it makes my day, thank you so much :) Cheers.
