In this video, I will install the Nissan metal rear bumper protector, and the rear cargo protector. Also picked up a set of the all season floor mats. Here are the part numbers.
NOTE: The installation of the Nissan hood deflector require enlarging 4 existing holes under the hood with a drill bit. The deflector is held down with a combination of clips and screws. It comes with all the hardware you need to do the install.

I used to live in Alaska and during winter time, its hard to keep your Vans floor carpet clean because of snow and gravel from your boots. I bought some vinyl carpet runner and custom cut them to the shape of my vans whole flooring, front and back. Then I bought some all season rubber mats to put on top of the vinyl carpet runner. My vans carpet never got dirty after that.

Thanks for your comment. With the hood deflector, it was sold as part of the new car purchase and to be covered for the new car warranty. So I was not able to install it myself.

Was it installed using a double sided tape or they drilled a hole to install it?

No drilling into any body parts. It's held in with metal clips and screws and nuts. If you buy the part, it comes with instructions or where you can download the install guide.

I have seen some YT vids on this stuff, and for me, it's just another good wax. I remember 20 years ago, everyone was raving about 'diamond' coating sold by dealerships in my area. And yes, in my much younger days, I did pay for it once to have it done at the cost of about $100. That stuff made my paint feel buttery smooth.....for about 6 months. Then that smoothness went away. My .02 on this, save your money, get yourself some Mequiar's Gold Class carnauba wax. Roll up your sleeve, put some elbow grease into it and a cold beer. Your car will come out beautiful. By the way, any car you wax will make the water bead. If you love your car, I would wax it at least once a year. Of course you can do it more often, but not with my busy schedule.

I briefly looked at the WeatherTech ones and they are not cheap. Also I like the fact the cargo one does allow for the seat to be folded. Don't think the WeatherTech one allows for that.

how is the usability of cargo mats? are they still intact with the carpet of the 4rd row seating? how much would you rate? i am thinking of buying floor mats from weathertech and cargo mats from nissan

These Nissan mats are the best. I absolutely love them. The cargo mats which allows for folding the third row seats are very handy. I did consider weathertech when I was shopping for them, but they are not that much cheaper than the Nissan ones.

The hood deflector is Nissan OEM accessory. Install will require you to enlarge 4 existing holes with a drill bit.

Nice install Tho I hate the matts looks like a school bus To industrial looking If your off roading they would work nice 👍 or in the winter months with the snow etc other then that I would just use a nice Nissan Matt 👍

I am usually not a big fan of rubber mats also, but with 2 kids playing soccer, and treading grass and dirt, these mats make cleanup super easy with a shop vac. I still have the original carpeted ones, so maybe when they get older, I will put them back in.
