Idealism for Hegel meant that the finite world is a reflection of mind, which alone is truly real. He held that limited being (that which comes to be and passes away) presupposes infinite unlimited being, within which the finite is a dependent element. Hegel himself said he is an idealist , and he is the final product of German idealism.

M V Govindan gave a detailed explanation about his statement regarding Dialectical materialism. Instead of saying Indian Marxists denied/ going to deny Dialectical materialism, try to understand what he actually said. Also, all the Indian marxists I know have an understanding of hegel's philosophy as foundational step to Marxian dialectics. They are not rejecting Hegel as some useless idealist like you mention in the video.

@@franciskm4144 I'm not saying about what other people thought about hegel. I'm saying your point regarding Indian Marxist's take on Hegel is not true. I've attended a few classes by Marxists. Mainly from kerala. Not even a single one said hegel is useless. They have their criticisms towards hegel. But that is not just from Marxists. I'm guessing that you might be familiar with some of the criticisms anyway. And no, I haven't read Hegel. I tried reading his books but I failed. So I'm trying to understand his philosophy through commentaries on his philosophy and then going back to his original works. And what I mentioned in my comment was your take on MV Govindan's statement. Not about my trust on other people's thoughts on Hegel.

Yes . This theory is applicable in all social fields. Hegel use the word sublation for assimilating the good in the earlier stage. For example in one stage of history property was social. If there is only social property individuals in the society will be the slaves of custodians of social prperty. As an antithesis private property system evolved. But now both private and public property exists together. If Govt fails to keep the balance society moves either towards the fascism of the private ownership or the slavery of those in power.

@@deerajkv6858 Originally the definition of communism include three parts 1) freedom of individual 2) harmony or cohesion in society 3) possibility of developing the potential of individuals. This is really the aim of a communist. Then What is means To achieve the aim abolition of private property. Later communist parties defined communism as abolition of private property. That is why I said communist parties forgotten their aim. You just search in google only one definition quoted from manifesto ie communism in one word means abolition of private property. Then you ask where from you got the aim of communism is as stated above? Actually it is from Hegel's philosophy of right par 260. And was taken by and used by Engels in framing communist act of faith 🙏

Science has grown so much ok . what about social science? How can we find difference between animal and Man. Animal kingdom exists by the principle fittest survive. In that rape is truth. On what basis one can convince man that rape is antisocial. How can we explain freedom. Hów can we explain rights of women. In terms of science there is no convincing reason for that. Social Darwinism is really existing. Religions role is against social Darwinism.Why not in India even now political parties and leadership behaving as kings? To these questions Hegel gives answers. He predicted Hidu fanaticism in 1805. German economic system is based on Hegelian principles. We cannot contribute to theoretical phYsics without using mathematics which is based on logic alone. U may be knowing that brain has several lobs. Actually speaking 4 lobs and a brain stem or reptilian brain. In human the frontal lob volume is much much higher than others. That is what providing thinking power to human. There are eighty billion of neurons in this frontal lobe help to store massive data as electrical impulse and get stimulated by the hormones called dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins. These are just biochemical substances. "Material" objects in your language. In the rest of the organisms the frontal lobe is less developed. The reptilian lobe is the only active one or only part those have. The energy it consumes is less than few percentage. Humans also have this reptilian brain. It controls the body's vital functions such as heart rate, breathing, body temperature and balance. Basically mind or consciousness is something that continuously compares with present input from the environment with the the large stored data mainly in frontal lob as like flip-flops(basis memory cell) chip that doing in electronics. You may also knows about artificial intelligence. So there is no necessity of brain for thinking and processing. A basic example is already in ur hand. That is what is ur smartphone.U know why a child doesn't have a larger thinking capacity than an adult? Answer is simple. The stored data and the volume capacity is less than that of an adult brain. Really Immanuel Kants contribution is termed as copenicken revolution in philosophy. Before him philosophy was hand made religion. He said religion should be purified by religion. I said that religions role is in contributing to human relationships . But unfortunately leaders of religions don't know such thing. You just compare the epic Ramayana and I Iliad and odesseus the basic story is same . The duty of King is protecting the woman from stealing from his husband. In the first evolutionary stage of human history this has highly relevant. Because at that stage stealing was the order of the day. But the persons who follow religion donot know such things. In science itself there are many stages Thomas Khun wrote a book structure of scientific revolution. That book used the method of Hegel to narrate the history of science. Never think that earlier stages are useless. Instead on earlier stages present is built. Even now in European universities discuss Plato and Aristotle. Regarding my statement that electricity is mathematics, that is a statement from my brother,who is retired from Karnataka electricity board as chief engineer. I don't know much detail. Secondly he is explaining not dialectical materialism but materialistic interpretation of history. Iam planning another episode of materialistic interpretation of history. That is the application of dialectical materialism. He says an example of horse. That is the idea of Kant. And that theory is termed as subjective idealism . Hegel proposes objective idealism against Kant's subjectíve idealism. Hegel says that image in the mind and actual horse in the objective world should correspond. I accept that. Marx says abut ossification. Many Dogmas of the Catholic Church are earlier principles ossified. The term is taken from Marx. European society critically examine their theories continuously. They examined their myths and used it for analysing human behaviour. For example oedipus Complex and Electra complex.. Indians are not doing that. You just observe the structure of catholiç church in Kerala it is same as CPM. Both are not ready to go transform. I am a devout catholic. At the same time a critique of its dogma, practice and structure. My methodology is evolutionary and not revolutionary.

@@afantonyalapatt9554 It is true that labour movements and their associations are bargained for the welfare of laborers. Marx and Engels tried to make a theory to support the labourers and to frame a social structure in which labourers enjoy the product of their fruit. The problem is not in the sincerity of Marx. The sincerity of a person regarding the aim does not make his theory effective. He has made a theory, his effort is good. And his contributions can be modified and applied in many situations. It should be realised that present day Europe has modified capitalism by accepting many criticisms raised by Marx. And it is not a reality to assume that we can achieve 100 percent result. So Marxism is assimilated and we cannot easily detect it's contributions in historical progress of society. In my younger days I was of the opinion that Marxism contributed nothing. Now I realise that the statements, Marxism is truth and Marxism is false and useless, are false.🙏
