I've been using Gtechniq G1 & G5 on my glass for 10 years now and swear by it. C4 is superb on trim too especially as you seem to be drifting towards CSL. Also might be an idea if you gave the rubbers a going over at the decon soap stage with a hogs hair brush or similar, there'd be far less coming off at the IPA wipe stage and will make things a little easier. That's what I do anyway! Car looks awesome by the way. Now you have HQ with the lift and all the tools, your detailing is on another level. The GT350 detail was not that long ago but was no-where near this one.

I know you said you wanted to try the angelwax brand.i highly reccomend you try it before your next wolf’s stock order (especially h2go). I find it identical to wolfs glass even the application , but here in Australia it’s 17$ aud for 100ml for 6-12 months longevity , can do maybe 20-30 cars glass with it . The price point makes it more accessible for everyone therefore more sales for OGHQ! Side note - I’m a prodetailers and have converted from using the same line up of wax’s/ compounds etc as you to now, half carpro / angelwax. Particularly angelwax enigma aio polish (super versatile aio that’s suprisingly got a lot of bite. I can compound and finish 75% of cars with it perfectly just by varying the pad. H2go, enigma wax( bit pricey but unmatched to other Wax’s), VISION (the best glass cleaner on the market - verified by a lot of uk KZbinrs too), ti-22 (hybrid titanium sealant that you apply under a wax by a spray - will make you gag if you smell it - super alcoholly, but gives the same life extension of a wax as Collinite does but in a wipe on / off spray form . - oh I’m not a angel wax seller or rep , just a guy that loves to use the best detailing products haha

Hello Matt. I wanted to ask you if I may, What is your opinion on glass treatment product like "Auqapel" . I personally use it like it very much. It can withstand strong chemicals that are needed to clean cars here in Iceland over the winter months( cars get caked in salt and tar! ) Also to polish the car, I find myself today, using almost only Armour All product that is name "The Shield" it is not wax more like a sealant I guess. You do not let is sit on, just on and off, divide the car into sections. It works on both paint and trim. and gives very good shine.and has a decent production and last for 2-3 months. Of course it is not a product at the same level as what you are using and offering. But on a daily driven car that lives in a very tough environment. Seeking perfection is far from being worth the time investment 99% of the time. I think, It is a brilliant product and the shine is really that good, I even use it on my 2nd car that is just used over the summer.

Matt - does the Wolf’s Trim harden/crystallize on glass or painted surfaces? For example, when I applied Gyeon Trim for the first time on window seals, I accidentally got some on the surrounding glass and had to use a razor blade to remove. As for the paint I had to clay/buff it out. Just wondering if it’s the same situation here?
@ObsessedGarage6 жыл бұрын
It does not. It is not a true coating. It is a nano sealant.
@rockhills6 жыл бұрын
Does the liquid consistency of Wolf's Nano Trim have a similar consistency to that of Gyeon Trim? I find Gyeon Trim to be thicker and feel oily I would say.
