This was a really unique touch on the Spamton shop scene! It somehow feels.. more dark than the original due to the dulled out colors (and the smile on the sun, but that's pretty obvious). Thanks for this cover too!

I gotta say, this video has something really special; it really captures the unnerving, hopeless nature of Spamton without falling into a overly-creepy style that wouldn't quite fit with Deltarune The song and the visuals are just in the very edge of what Spamton encompasses, without going too far.

LOVE the illustration of Spamton. What most fan depictions of the character are missing nowadays is an actual resemblance to a puppet, something you nailed. Also love how the glasses obscure his eyes, so its left ambiguous as to whether he's staring at you or just completely vacant in the head. Music is great as well. Solid work.

There's an odd, yet almost comforting feeling this gives me.... It's just...I dunno. I don't hear it as creepy, sure tragic in a way, but....like I'm surrounded by soft rain clouds or some shit, with an old blanket from my childhood wrapped around me. There's just something so nice about it.... And the graphic as well, I dunno why but it's almost PERFECT in terms of recreating those early VHS kids' movies feels.... He should look so freaky, but oddly enough he has that weird "so ugly it's cute" look to him. It's just overall pathetic, almost. Lost... Yet not nearly as empty as the original. I genuinely adore this.

this horrifying spamton drawing looks like it's simultaneously rip itself apart and attempting to stay together, and his hands are just BARELY peaking over his own dialog box, which, if it did canonically exist, i don't think would be touchable, which makes it look like spamton is about to jump out at you, and that reality itself is trying to rip itself apart, which i think is actually happening, at least in spamton's shop, due to the fact that part of the wall is glitching into nothingness.

It's like someone recreated Chapter 2, but at a well-used school playground, or a zoo; it's somewhere where you would find a painted mural in an outdoors exhibit made only from wood and dingy 60's electronics, that display the characters and famous scenarios from the game, but the guy painting it didn't play Deltarune all too much, so the designs of the characters and locations are slightly off, and the characters are only shown speaking well-known quotes from the game, usually with no connection to the scenario they are painted in. Yes, the murals are good, it's familiar, you can easily discern what the painted murals are displaying, but it's so disconnected and bare-bones that it just barely scratches the surface of what these characters and scenarios actually are, so you're stuck staring at these murals as you're hiding from the rain admiring how well they were painted, but wondering how much they could have been because they're only meant to be quickly glanced at without a second thought by kids who go "Hey look, it's Spamton! :)" before going back to playing on the rock climbing wall. But hey, you didn't think of any of that when you made this, right? Analog horror and nostalgia bait would be so much better if they captured more diverse and specific scenarios such as these.

Quite a nice spin on the Dialtone theme. On the original, it sounds quirky, maybe a bit depressing. This gives off the feeling of someone from the 90's hence the static effect, and the realistic but muffled sounds you hear from those old films as well. I don't know what is is, maybe the unsettlingly delapidated smile on the sun or Spamton's broken, helpless, forced grin, maybe his ever so slight jitter in the animation that makes me so scared and sad. That jitter makes it look as if he's shaking while holding back his tears or at the very Brink of losing it all. Not only his wealth and control, but his sanity, as well. The sun's painted smile seems like something you'd find on the wall of a kid's bedroom, except the house has been rotting away for a decade. It's like Spamton drew it on in a sad, pathetic attempt to pretend as if everything's okay. The black void behind the crumbling wall of a sunny sky is just so unsettling. What's back there? How far does it strech out? Where is the light shining on the telephone coming from? And finally, the top rated salesman 1997 himself. You can't tell what's going on behind his colorful glasses. His smile is so eerie and uncanny. His lower jaw seems dislocated, tilting back. He's standing at the text box desk all innocent, like a kid, exited to help you out, but he's a broken man. And there's nothing that can save him now.
