Sir I watched video of one of the renowned nephrologist Dr Sanjeev Gulati from Fortis hospital @ Delhi , Vasant kunj. According to him CKD patient should opt for mediocre path in terms of protein consumption. According to him, various quack and ayurvedic treatment providers put the patient on ghiya or torai vegetable diet to show false lower creatinine level. Rather, some amt of proteins are essential for survival . According to him we should not totally shunned proteins , instead we should take dal/ lentils in small qty as proteins are building block.
