Dialysis Support Group Meeting| Dr.Ajay Rathoon | Kidney Warriers 13 Oct 2022| CURI Hospital

Curi Hospital hosted the first Support Group meeting for CURI Dialysis Patients. Dr.Ajay Rathoon, CURI Consultant Nephrologist spoke about AV Fistula, Catheter Care and the Common Problems faced in dialysis.
We also had Mr and Mrs. Sumeer Kumar representing the Kidney Warriors Foundation #NGO Team, who addressed the gathering about his success story as a dialysis, renal transplant patient and open heart surgery patient.His speech motivated and cleared the doubts for many Dialysis patients. Mrs.Mary Ann Sumeer Kumar shared her experience as a caregiver, the obstacles faced and how she had overcome all the struggles.
The dialysis patients who attended the program felt positive and good after listening to the speakers.
One of the beneficiaries said "When somebody offers a way out at a dead end, that makes all the difference".
CURI Hospital is happy to spread more such positivity always.
