Thanks so much Cheryl. Yes, it’s a lot of work, but thé endresult of such a video is my prefered way of doing it. Because it shows the thought process while working on a kit - which is different every time.

I absolutely loved this video. I've never seen one done like this before. I actually have never seen this kit before and I totally love it. I don't mind color blocking but I hate it when it's a big huge section of the one color. So I would love to do this one. ❤😊❤

I have run out of drills on the last three diamond paintings I've completed! Two from one company and one from another one. I used up every single possible diamond I could, and for one of the paintings I did what you did and just used another color closer to what the original one was, but in the same kit. The second two I could have used the "drill insurance, and asked the company for replacement drills, but I don't like to be thought of as the "pain in the butt" customer. Instead I just went to one of the online drill sellers to purchase what I needed (in both cases less than 50 drills each). However, if this problem continues (and I like you am not that picky about trash drills and don't throw them away/spill or make a lot of mess/drops with my drills), I may start reaching out because it's starting to feel like maybe companies are cutting down on the % overfill for drills (especially in the case of the colors in the least amount on the canvas.) Thank you for this review, Lisette. Once again, I'm impressed by your resilience and willingness to do projects that you think may not be that enjoyable, but yet you find yourself enjoying the process more than expected. It's fun to watch your process, and I really appreciate this style of full review from unboxing to finish all in one video. Very enjoyable!

Thanks so much Amanda -I really appreciate your Lovely compliment. Regarding thé drills…yes, I totally agrée about not wanting to reach out to thé company. On thé other hand It’s weird that it keeps happening. I’m going to keep track with my future projects and if it keeps happening I’ll address it.

Hi Lisette, I also had my eye on this one too & put it on my wish list. I too liked both Emily James canvases but agree you picked the right one for now; agreed this color pallet has prettier colors than the other beach scene with muted colors. I work canvases the same as you except I’m right handed & more confetti fan than color blocking. Need a change once in a while. I am working on my destash, not a complete one but narrowing it down to a more manageable number. Hope this one is available again when I am ready to buy again. As always good content video. 🤗

Normally I'm bored by landscapes, but the artwork and render on this one are exquisite. I didn't order it on release because light color squares color blocking is my diamond painting weakness, I can't seem to get the pesky light colored square drills to line up correctly. Congratulations on a beautiful finish ✨

📣 A needle and a candle ???? 😮😮😮 I take out my hand drill, drill a hole through the center, and then screw in a small screw and then reverse drill it out! 😂😂😂😂😂 Wait till I show this to my husband! 🙃😂❤️ This is such a relaxing canvas. I just did the same thing on Crimson, rather than contact Dreamer Designs that I ran out of drills, I went into my stash to find similar drills.
@LisetteCraftsandTells4 ай бұрын
Ha ha ha…yes that Will work too. Never thought about using à hand drill - might just need to give that a go - just to see how that would go.
@GailMcCormick4 ай бұрын
Interesting tip about the broken multi-placer! Bummer about running out of a color. The only time I've run out so far I was just 4 short, and the replacement drills were a different dye lot so I had to move a few around so they weren't so obviously different. This one seems pretty forgiving when fudging it, at least.
@LisetteCraftsandTells4 ай бұрын
Hi Gail - yes, if I can make it work with drills I already have I Will do it. Still not collecting my legt over drills, but if this keeps happening with future kits I might need to rethink that

Ive ran out of a few colours on my newest DAC kit. I agree its so frustrating but luckily i had some spares. I don't know what is going on with DAC, with their fomo marketing its almost as if they don't expect anyone to actually work on the canvases because they are getting skimpy on drills and their stickers don't stick. Totally frustrating when we buy kits to actually work on. Take care Lisette, this kit is beautiful.
