I will keep you updated. There will be a kitting up video this sunday and after that 4 updates on the canvas. Will take me a couple of months to finish a diamond painting like this because I work on other projects as well - but just be on the lookout for them. The updates will be there asap.

Hello Lisette, I wish you a healthy and happy new year. The picture is incredible! I'm looking forward to seeing the painting finished. I would also have loved to order a J. Wall from TOWTDA. Unfortunately, they were not allowed to deliver the J. Walls to Germany. :( I really hope that TOWTDA will perhaps send Diamond Paintings to the EU again next year. There are definitely still some motifs that I would like.

I really need to order a j wall. I have a couple from Diamond Art Club that I have not done yet. But I really would like to order a big one from the one with the diamond art and Diamond painting Deutschland. I love watching your videos on them. Can't wait to see you kit this one up. I'm very curious to see all the colors.

Hi Tina - oh the DAC ones are a great way to get your feet wet. I would definitely recommend starting on one of those first. I hope to be able to give a clear idea of the difference between the two companies, so that you can make an informed decision on which one to buy from next.

Ooo, ooo. Josephine Wall, confetti, squares, poured glue! Everything I want to get one of hers. Okay, I know I'm crazy to love confetti and squares when I can work faster with color blocking and rounds. But I'm not trying to see how many diamond paintings I can make over the rest of my life. 😆 I even just saw an image on The One With the Diamond Art that I'd love to buy as my one BIG splurge-so I hope the shop survives long enough for me to work down my current stash (and our economy here doesn't crash and burn first). It will take at least 6-8 months before I'll be ready to consider buying one, and I'll be glued to your reports. I am still overwhelmed by the thought of colors more than 60, and she' calls for a LOT more. but if I can love confetti, I can love 150-200 colors.

Adding to comment that I purchased this from TOWTDA and wish, wish, wish I waited 6 months when they made changes to provide them in color with stickers and I am guessing they up the drill quality. Looking forward to seeing how yours will look.

I am working on a JWall, Bluebird 120 x 150 cm canvas that is black and white, came with no stickers with a legend symbols that were so tiny I had to ask for a pdf version I could enlarge the symbols. They responded quickly with my request and sent me the electronic pdf with symbols. The covering is in white plastic that is torturous to remove and the drills not very good. I paid so much for the kit that I am determined to complete it. Took me over a month to kit up and have been working on it for over a year. I take breaks on it to not burn out and estimate it will take me 2 more years to complete.

Oh Anne, my heart goes out to you. I could never do a black and white one. Also the symbols are smaller than with other companies - or feel smaller, so it's even harder to put the drills down. I would definitely have burned out on that one. Have you thought about throwing in the towel and just getting a new (easier to work on) one?

Love the colors and I love confetti, but I’ve never imagined doing one with confetti like this one. So nice to know someone is producing her work in poured glue. I hope you enjoy working on this one as much as you have the others. Peace and love abide with you💕

There is no diamond painting video that excites me more than a JWall video! I will be along for the journey Lisette ❤I wish DPD had the larger selection of images that TOWTDA has. There are some phenomenal pictures out there that they just don’t carry. Very anxious for your assessment because if you think the picture turns out as well as DPD I will buy from TOWTDA. Oh I love to see the progress of this JW 😍 I have already painted 4 from Diamond Painting Deutschland but no JW from TOWTDA. I have 3 of them in my stash.. 1 with a black/ withe canvas and 2 arrived a few days ago with a coloured canvas like yours. 😊

She's gorgeous! I've been wanting to buy a JWall from TOWTDA for a while, but for some reason something else always gets prioritised above it. My first impression is that the rendering of the DPD canvas is more crisp. If I remember correctly, Amy's Sparkly Diamond Painting did a comparison of The Three Graces from DPD and TOWTDA.

I wouldn't say crisp....my first thoughts are that TOWTDA is more 'grainy'...I'm still working on my thoughts about how to describe it....Will get there and keep you updated LOL

I'm so curious to hear your thoughts on a J.Wall from TOWTDA. Maybe this is obvious, but does it feel different just because DBD uses DSA? Otherwise all other companies you usually work on have poured glue, I believe, so maybe that's why it feels more like a regular diamond painting? I would like to order a J.Wall someday, so your thoughts will help me decide where to order from 🙂

No it's not just that. It is definitely part of it though. It's an overall feel, but also an important part is the rendering. This one feels more 'grainy'...is that the right word? Sorry still working on how to express my feelings/thoughts in a way that makes sense;....hang in there with me and I'm sure I'll get there LOL

The confetti is making it take a while and the render is still TBD. I liked your idea of starting the year with a "wow!", even though this one might not quite be there it definitely takes me to the beginning of finding diamond painting and that makes it special.

Hi, I have a kit from The one with the diamond art. I have not started it yet, but my legend I recieved does not have the sticky backing to it, ugh. I’ll figure it out. It’s my first kit from them, I hope I enjoy it. I understand your explanation toward the painting, I feel the same about mine.

When I use those to kit up I put yhe symbols on top and the DMC numbere on the front. The canvas looks like it's gonna be fun. I did one from them last year in black & white. I was a little intimidated when I started but it didn't take me long to enjoy the process. Can't wait to see your process. Happy new year.

I think this painting, beautiful as it is, is missing the intricate details from DPD. It could be the palette, again maybe deceiving, and bevause she is the laege focal point. The last JW you did looked like 4 separate diamknd paintings that came together into a masterpiece. There are definite differences. However, she is beautiful and I can't wait to see how she comes to life.

This painting looks like a single subject vs the last Wall you did seemed like multiple subjects within subjects. I'm not sure I explained that well, but seems like at least one major difference to me! I'm looking so forward to following you on this one!!

I absolutely love this series it was a real eye opener. Definitely going to keep track of my spending this year and I agree the more space and storage you have the more wips you have and when you're not keen on one of the wips they get forgotten on the side burner and remains unfinished for alot longer than you realise. I'm not keen on the evnets because I don't think I have kits that meet the requirements and my stash is big enough that I want to work through it and not get anything new anytime soon.

I have 13 diamond paintings on the way. I am not proud of this, but I ordered most of them in a desire to try out different small shops. This will bring my WIPS and stash up to 70. I love the paintings and I have a plan to work on them. I will not buy any more. I plan to participate is events throughout the year, but I have all the paintings that I need for this!!! I feel very content with what I have and I won’t be buying anymore. I am following along with my own stash count Sunday and I will check in with you here each month…maybe each week…and hold myself accountable!!!

My favorite tip was planning out the year in my bullet journal. I have already made the decision to not purchase any more this year. I planned events out based with what I have and have already ordered. I just don’t really know what to do with older kits. Maybe explore destash?

Ok. Deep breath. I got the GemsFlow app and entered all my paintings-including those that are on the way and my wips. I have not entered my completed paintings, but I have those in a paper logbook. I have 70! Gulp. I started making a roadmap, but I am struggling with finishing up kits that are older that I am not as excited about to get them out of my stash or to work through the many new kits that I ordered in 2024. I have realized that I need to stop buying so I appreciate this insight so much!!!

Isn't it weird? You kinda know, but when you do the work and you really see it all added up it becomes real. I would definitely advice to destash older kits that you're not enthousiastic about anymore. Others might be searching for them. You make them happy and it brings some relief for you.
