Beautiful vid! May I ask you how you got them so tame, that they trust you so much? ;) I have some diamond doves, too, and sadly they are pretty distant. I mean, they're not scared of me, but they don't allow me to come too close or even touch them. In your clip it looks like they love you! How did you do that? I'm really curiuos 'bout that!

That one with out the eye ring is a baby, will develope as it mautres. no that's not them chirping, sound like some kind of small parrot, maybe lovebirds? The diamond does coo, but a bit different then the large ones you commonly see.

I got mine to somewhat tamed. Got it to step up onto my finger and to where it won't freak out when there's humans around. Just got it yesterday too. I trimmed the wings off, so it can't fly all over and work with it from there.

I had to raise mine since they where babies and they let me touch them kiss them they always fly on my head . I raised them and fed them since they where babies since I accidentally opened the cage and their parents flew away so I was their new mom lol

Their cage is clearly disgusting. If you want to clean your doves cage move all the doves into a temp cage and take their cage out and hose it down then let it dry, it helps to lay down news paper to catch most of the crap.

Sometimes you need to... I get mice and rats in mine if I don't, and also occasionally foxes who will easily dig under to get the birds.

Yes their cage is disgusting but from the looks of it the birds are still in good shape. These aren't your birds anyways so you shouldn't be worried about them.

VogelKonigin The cage is indeed disgusting but the feces are dry. The birds also look healthy and since it’s filled to the brim with crap and food that means the doves don’t have to walk on wire.
