Despite being completely silent, this has some of the most fun and zany personalities of any piece of animation I've seen on KZbin in a long while. None of the facial expressions are overdone or exaggerated, but they still convey emotions perfectly. It maybe cuts a bit too frequently from scene to scene to the point it's hard to follow it, but that's honestly the fast-paced action of it all, so I can excuse that. Otherwise, basically perfect. We don't deserve pieces of animation this good for free, and yet here we are.

Here is a list of evidence as well as timestamps so you can see them for yourself. 0:33 the cops and "detective" (henceforth called C and D respectively) arrive before a crime is commited. 1:00 D recognizes Diamond Jack (henceforth known as DJ) 1:58 D knows not to hold it by the top, otherwise DJ (and part of the "diamond") would fall. 2:34 when D catches the "diamond" the first thing he does is open it. As shown earlier (2:17) it's difficult to open it, yet D does, instead of giving up and thinking they won. And last but not least, 2:53 even after seeing that DJ saved their lives and their city, C and D still pin her to the ground. All of these show to me that D and C are evil, trying to destroy the city. DJ is (in my headcanon) the old Partner In Crime to D, but left him when she found out what his plan was. Once D went through with it, DJ stole the false diamond and got rid of it, saving the city.`

I love the storytelling in both the subtle clues and the song itself explaining what's going on in the story and what is coming up. The story and song were very obviously written for each other, which I think is credited on both ends saying as such. In most of the lyrics, it relates to the story, but not all of it lines up 1:1. ===Visuals=== ~0:30 - When we first see the diamond, we can see two hinges on the back, implying this isn't a normal diamond, and something is inside. (This becomes a technical storytelling issue when she twists it open instead of opening it via the hinges later. Furthermore, if you want to argue she pops it open straight up, there's still hinges connecting it, so it shouldn't separate.) ~1:26 - When going through the casino, the slots show a diamond, followed by 2 bombs. A foreshadow of the bomb that is inside the diamond. ===Lyrics=== Most of the song from the start up to Verse 2 doesn't have any plot specific foreshadowing. ~1:15 - The entirety of Verse 2 itself. "I'll be rolling place to place" being very literal with the rollerskates, "Won't stop til I win the race", being metaphorical in this case, a race against time for the bomb. "Although I may have crossed the line" might be referencing how it's still theft, despite it being a good deed. "No time to waste on you I don't plan on slowing down", again, racing against time for the bomb. "No I'll keep on going even if you think I'm in the wrong" is for the fact that she has, indeed, stolen the diamond. They don't know it has a bomb inside. ~1:34 - The second bridge (of the song) here follows the theme of Verse 2, telling of her feelings of the situation for storytelling. "Although I may not think everything through, I don't take back what I say or regret what I do. I know that some stay in line and they stick to the plan, but if you leave it to me I'll do whatever I can." In this circumstance, she may be doing this out of a whim and messing up a plan itself, but she is doing everything she can, regardless of the consequences. She will not regret the choice she is making because she is saving lives. ~1:43 - The Chorus of the song once again being literal and metaphorical to the song. "I know that's what I'm here for", noting that she's here to save lives. I don't wanna wait around anymore, even if you can't see the good inside me, I don't have the time to tell you, why I do the things that I do just please hold on and soon you'll see, that I'm not the villain I appear to be" shows that given the bomb that she knew about, she doesn't have time to explain. The bomb was shown (at 2:25 (which in itself has another significance)) to have only 45 seconds when it was revealed, and 5 seconds when it was thrown. The lyrics also go onto be more literal in the "please hold on" as she hold onto the detective's hands to swing over. Lastly, the "I'm not the villain I appear to be", being that she is removing the bomb from the premises, and to safely dispose of it, again, contrary to what the police think. ~2:20 - Oh hey! It's that timestamp I mentioned earlier! THERE'S A BOMB! Jokes aside, this has two important meanings in the story: 1) This bomb has 45 seconds and has been ticking down the entire time, and 2) She has been a hero the entire time, and not the villain. This is the obvious big reveal, but given all of the above, one could come to the conclusion that this might have been coming. At the very least, something isn't quite as it seems. Everything else after is more storytelling, but at this point there's nothing left to reveal that foreshadows anything.
