Fantastic! This is the best clip on youtube of this marvellous ending, both in length and quality. Viewing this makes me proud to be a neighbouring country to this great nation, Rule Britannia! Greetings from Norway.

"I Vow to Thee" was my favorite part too. Always give me goosebumps when I hear that song. I shared the video on my Facebook wall for other American's to see.

Even I did when I came home from hospital; Woody.EXE gathered his people together before me and Mummy, Princess of Wales made it home in time for God save the Queen as my 2009 Woody, my sister and Woody.EXE we’re already waiting for the arrival of his Queen. The crowds went insane when everyone saw me since January 27th

@nuntana25 жыл бұрын
I'm sure you are aware, but please spread the word in your great nation - for those that do not know - that, despite being used in America and Canada for graduation, this is in fact a very English piece, penned by Edward Elgar. It is the true English national anthem.

We've got another jubilee to mark the Queens 70th anniversay to the throne next year just think we had the silver jubilee in 1977 the golden jubilee in 2002 and the diamond jubilee just shy of the London 2012 Olympic games in 2012 and as in the words of Prince Charles some of us would've seen four jubilees including the emerald jubilee next year.

Grand Finale - The Queen lit the last National Beacon, after which there was a firework display, during which the melodies of several patriotic songs and hymns were played: "Zadok the Priest" (Georg Friedrich Händel), "I Vow to Thee My Country" (Gustav Holst), "Land of Hope and Glory" (Edward Elgar) and "Ode to Joy" / Anthem of Europe (Ludwig van Beethoven).👊
