I spent the day yesterday “re-vamping” my storage. I had purchased 175 colors of rhinestone crystals in October and they needed their own box! 🤣. I’ve also made a box strictly for specials and AB’s. It’s much smaller so I ended up putting the bags of my regular drills that were too full in one side of that box. I LOVE your system!! I’ve used it since the very 1st video you made of it. I rushed right down to my craft stores and local office supply and got all I needed. Then I had to wait for my stickers to arrive to make them “pretty”. 😄 Thanks Rebecca!! You’re the BEST! I have square and rond spare drills stored apart from eachother. Mainly because I also keep hold of the spares that come from leftovers when my dad has a painting finished and he only does square drill paintings. I do square and round myself, but still have a lot more square spares compared to round.

Great job. Mine are together in one box. I don’t buy a lot of square paintings, so I don’t have a lot of extra square drills. I haven’t even put all of my extras away yet, so I have a second box to spread into.

I'm excited to see this all come together for you! I am one year into diamond painting. I will be placing my spares into a the same storage system as you have. Today my basic tray and Zesty tray arrived! I love how well they snuggle into my hand. I'll get to put them to use this evening! Yay! Thank you ☺️

This is exactly what I did. It made me half a column of space in my mixed box, so I will move my squares into a new box.

I just got all my drills in to 2 boxes....ho hummm. I guess I will switch them up (like yours). Yours are soooo pretty lol

I keep all my squares and rounds separate. Like you said, I only have to pull out my square boxes or my round boxes, depending on the diamond painting I’m dekitting. But I have 4 boxes of each. Plus a box for ABs. I still have to set up my rhinestones and special drills Still haven’t gotten around to that.

Lovely, I use to store my drills but once the canvas is finished I pour them all into one jar & toss them around every so often 😀

I have 6 boxes of rds and 4 boxes of sq . I do mostly rounds . I have some square paintings . Just have to practice getting them straight lol !

I love this storage system, I tried using Elizabeth Ward for storage it got to expensive, thank you for sharing, I enjoy this project, I will be selling my Elizabeth Ward soon

I have made it very easy for me. I have round diamonds only. My spares fills up slowely. A few are full allready. For those who needs more space I have one box and one plastic bag for each of them.

Ohhh... I've been waiting to see you do this 😊 But I don't think it will work for me as I have every colour in both round and square 😢 some are just a few in the baggie but so many are full bags.... Thank you for inspiring me to try this system I got the box ready to go but I never wrote the code #s down only the symbols thank goodness I saved the ledges because now I’m backtracking and my head is about to blow up from all these numbers hopefully I get it done soon 🤞🏻. This hobby became a stress reliever and I really wanna work on my current wip 😁

My spares are together, they will stay that way for now. I have a separate box for my 4 HAED Crown Jeweled canvases so alot of squares are missing from the normal spare storage. My long term project will be a supersized HAED with 240 colors, I am saving the square diamonds I need for that.

I split my squares and rounds from the very beginning, simply because I prefer squares to rounds. I am truly surprised at how few spares you have!

My spares are together, but I've been doing a few more specials while trying to force myself to work through a canvas I don't want to DNF but am not really enjoying. I don't have anywhere for the specials to go that is neat and orderly right now and I don't do many rounds anymore, so I could probably fit all of my rounds in 1 column to half a photo box and specials in the rest. Rounds definitely wouldn't need individual cards for all DMC's, either...might even be able to get away with the 100's markers.

My round are on 3 boxes I was not able to get them to fit in only 2. My square are in 2 boxes for now but I haven't put diveder card between each bag yet (got a 3 boxes for them if needed.) And I needed to had to my comment that I think my boxes are a little bit smaller then yours.

You say you like the black and white stickers but want your square storage to be a bit different from the round. Can you reverse (or "negative") the colors on the current black/white stickers so that they are still the same style but just that little bit of difference to make a change?

I'm a little nervous that your squares might not fit into two boxes without being super tight. Since they are the ones you have the most of, maybe you should have started with those. I love the concept of splitting them up, but because of the way I color match, I can't do it. I like to make sure that my main colors match in round and square. I do love it when you pretty your storage up. Thank you so much for sharing!

Good point and I've wondered myself. I think I've talked myself into splitting them even before I 'tried' with the round. I might just have to squeeze another box in if I have to.

I may have to do the same by splitting up my rounds and squares. Mine span 6 photo boxes but I'm just using the cheaper baggies probably 2ml, not the 4 mil ones. It does become daunting when I dekit and have to get out a box for just a couple of the colors in that specific box. Figures 666 would be the one that didn't want to cooperate :)
