I have adopted your way of saving spares, but my boxes are the 14 x 9.5 x 4.5 with magnetic lids. I have 5 rows in each box and I do use hot glue to secure the dividers. I just purchased my 6th box, but I keep my rounds and squares together and I have purchased all 447 colors several times, so I have all colors already. Since I color match as well, I have multiple bags for a lot of the colors too. I sometimes feel a little obsessive about my spare drills too. I love kitting down and matching colors. Looking forward to your next video where you separate them. Thank you so much for sharing!

This is such a good system. I will definitely be following it. I’m pretty new to diamond painting and up until now I have just put spare drills in marked baggies in a shoe box. I like the idea of actually sorting them. Thanks I just love your ideas.

What a great idea! I already filled a box with spare drills in baggies and I just started diamond painting last month. This is such a better way to organize.

I'm excited b/c I ordered everything I need to start your spare storage system! As of now my spares are just in lil baggies inside freezer baggies. I can't wait to box them up!

I used a couple of glue dots to keep the end dividers from falling down. Also, the pointed tweezers work well with separating the backing off the stickers.

I use an electric kitchen knife to cut foam board.not sure how it will work on the really small pieces but it works well with larger pieces

I love the storage videos!! I actually tried the 'extra' section to make everything fit snugly to avoid gluing the divider pieces in place and didn't like it. The fact that it ruins the symmetry just bugs me SO BAD. I ended up finding a 20x30 inch (gave me 6 boxes worth of dividers) sheet of 1/2 inch thick foam board and it worked perfectly to make the rows snug while maintaining symmetry. I tried 2 of the standard foam together in each of the 2 dividers but I didn't like them and couldn't cover them nicely with anything. The 1/2 inch is thicker to cut through and therefore my cuts are a bit slanted (oops) but because they are SOOO snug in place, the rows of diamonds keep them looking just level...I just make sure to put the most noticeable slants on the bottom, lol. I really did love the 3.5 inch tip, though. The whole reason I went about making the adjustments was because I wanted to try the lower height and with my original dividers glued in place, it was quite difficult to cut them down without ripping the box liner...so I bought fresh boxes and had a play to eventually land on searching like crazy for thicker foam board and thankfully a couple local craft stores carried it and one that hadn't offered me any good coupons (I'm American, so y'know us and our coupons, haha) finally did and even better, the store didn't have any on the shelves even though they were listed as in stock, so an employee brought me out a nice clean sheet from the back. My guess is they possibly do this to avoid damaged corners because it's often hard to find the large foam sheets in pristine condition given how fragile they are and how careless some customers can be.

Love these videos. I have all the colors in both square and round (bought off Amazon) so I have 4 boxes each for squares and rounds. If I still need to set up the rhinestones/crystals, ABs and special drills. Oh - and here’s a video I found to more easily remove the sticker backing. I haven’t tried it yet but looks like it should work. kzbin.info/www/bejne/raGwhYxogJith80

Hi, can you update your link to the very strong baggies you use in your spare storage please. I followed the link but received the standard baggies these ones are a lot drunk when upright lol. I really need the very strong ones, the Buckingham Guards strength ones that once standing only a hot sun can knock them down sort of ones. Ta everso :)

I've got both links on my website, did you click on the right one as they are both right. The thicker bags are an amazon link. The thinner ones are eBay

Hi. Would you consider selling these ready made storage boxes at all ? Obviously without the drills
@addmorezest2 жыл бұрын
it's something that we will be looking into, it's just keeping the costs down when shipping would go up due to the size of them.

Is the box your using the same size as original boxes you use because measurement seem smaller
@addmorezest2 жыл бұрын
Yes they are the same size. I've not made the foam as deep though, this helps have a gap to flick through the cards.

What is the tape you put on the foam board?
@addmorezest4 ай бұрын
It's just a sticker. I use a full A4 sticker sheet and cut it to the size I want, then wrap it around the foam for a neat edge.

@addmorezest i see. Thank you for answering.. i have never seen sticker paper used. I love it. I have seen duct tape being used. I have never seen the 100s labels on top. I love that idea as well.
