I only have 4 paintings that are too large for my posterboard portfolios, and I do keep them in their box, without their diamonds. These are great tips. Thank you so much for sharing!

At the moment I haven't completed any large canvases but I stored them in an artist portfolio for the move and they are still there. My recent ones are still rolled in the bag they came in.

If you hold a double sided adhesive canvas up to the window on a sunny day you can check the clarity of the drill filled without having to take off the cover.

What is the reason that you don't flatten your double sided adhesive? It seems like a lot of other people do just that. I've been flattening mine lately to save space. Now I'm worried I could be damaging them. I have mostly 30x40's in double sided adhesive.

I keep mine flat in a big box on a closet and didnt have any problem 😊

I only don't flatten them if I want to store them rolled up.(so the larger ones) If I'm storing them flat then they tend to be fine. They seem to disagree with being flattened, then rolled again.

I need your advice! I bought a HAED pattern which is supersized. It requires a canvas that is 250cm x 181cm. I have asked at least a dozen different suppliers of blank canvas and they all say it is too big and they can't do it. Even HAED can't supply a canvas this big. Any ideas??

I honestly think you’ll struggle - but it would be great for you if someone knows different and can contradict me though! The type of printers used for DP only seem to go up to 60” (152cm) and then you also need to allow for the edges so the widest available would actually be about 142cm. I’d possibly look at buying two canvases and when completed stick them together x

It's the width more than the length I think you'll struggle with. I got one that was 250cm long, but it wasn't anywhere near as wide. I think they can only do a width of about 150cm. If at least one side is that small then it would work. As Sam said I'd look to getting 2 halves and maybe stick them together, using the excess side from one, to stick on the back of another. Once framed or mounted I doubt you'd be able to see it.
