this worked very well after a few tries. In the beginning the glue dots came out when I placed the drills, but I find that the more "lint" from clothing you put on the glue dot, the better it works. I tend to do a few drills and then when I feel the glue dot getting loose, I tap it on a piece of fabric and I'm good to go. Much better than wax. I also noticed the shine of the drill does not lessen when you use the glue dots. Thank you.

I have a pair of pointy tweezers dedicated to adjusting my glue dots...if I need to cut a bit off, then I pull a length out with the tweezer, snip it with scissors and leave the remainder of the dot on my tweezer so it doesn't go to waste.

If the dot pulls the drill back up, I just rub it with my finger. Works like a charm. Thank you for this upload!

I use 3 to 4 micro dots. I dab it on my finger tip when it's too sticky. I love the dots, they are all I use in my pen!!!!

I use the cut method. I bought my last package over a year ago and have not repurchased yet, plus if you have stainless steel tips they are a pure dream!

Just to let you know rebecca, you may want to use a wooden tooth pick rather than metal tweezers to get the glue dots out of your everlasting tips. Everlasting tips say not to use anything metal in them as it can ruin them 🥰

Hear me out...I know it may gross some out......buuuut I had had the best luck with "overstick" is to rub it on my skin. The oils on skin work the best for some strange reason. Someone posted it a DP group and I thought....what?? But it worked really well. Hey, whatever works, right?

I have always used 3 to 4 micro dots to begin with once it has settled it works for ages then when it is not so sticky I get tweezers and turn the glue dots over so sticky again 😀 it works for me lol x

I'm so glad you like working with the glue dots. Museum putty was my favorite, but the mini is all I use in single placers now. As we know, not all tips are created equal, but I've never needed more than 1 mini in my pens. I have had to cut some away though. I loved your tip on putting them into the pen. That was cool and I will try that. Thank you so much for sharing!

Love using the micro glue dots much more than the blue tack that I have been using. Though I do use the blue tack in my faithful four placer xxx

Blu-Tack is another good one to use in a pen

I would like to suggest a couple of tips. 1. When you replace a clear cover for cover sheets. Keep the clear cover on and replace a row at a time. This way you can keep the completed sections covered whilst not working on the painting. Protecting it from dust or pet hairs. 2. Stick a small sticker on the clear cover. If for any reason you remove the whole cover you will know which side to stick it back down.

I think I had to get them from an angle due to the way I placed the dot in. When it's sunk in a bit more, I can use it just like wax. I've not tried AB diamonds yet.

I been using glue dots since the June waffle.. i roll a micro then poke it down into the tip with tweezers then put in another... when one looses its sticky I use the tweezers to pull out and turn 😊 have dune this a few times now with the same two dots 😊 only time I don't use them is on Ab's, then I use a wax pencil 👍😉💚

I have a pen with old glue dots so it's not that sticky for my abs

How well do they work with ABs? Did you need to refill as often as you do with wax? With wax I have to refill after only a few ABs because the wax is coated in the shiny stuff. This is why I hate using ABs they drive me crazy.

I've not used them with ABs yet, but only because of the painting I'm working on. I do have a pretty placer for ABs and I find that works great.

Peggy don't use glue dots on ABs. It pulls the coating off of the ABs. I use pretty placer just like Rebecca does. I've also used a pick-me-up pen it's does good on rhinestones and special drills. You can also use the pink or blue glue in a multi placer for the big special drills. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for this video!!! The only issue I’m having is getting the glue dots to not bunch up to the center of my stainless steel multiplacer tips. They work fine in the single placer, but seemed to have the same issue with the plastic multiplacers. But with the stainless steel multiplacers, the dots kinda bunch up and start to migrate towards the center of the pen, no matter how much I try to keep them spread out across the pen. Any tips?? Do I need to just start placing drills and will that keep it spread out? I do use the micro dots so maybe I should try getting larger ones?

I've not had that problem, but I do use bigger ones and roll them into a sausage shape before putting them in.

What I’ve been finding is that no matter how much I try to unsticky the front it still doesn’t stick into my pen well :(

If you've had wax in your pen before it can prevent the glue dot from sticking well. Do you have a fresh pen tip you could try?

@@addmorezest unfortunately not I just bought new resin pen from Amazon so I’m going to try with blu tac until I feel I can get a new pen, seems to be okay so far
