I'm glad to hear your thoughts on patreon. I wish many more people felt the way you do. Buy me a coffee sounds like a better idea imo.
@amandalyle46733 жыл бұрын
I think the buy me a coffee is a good route and yes it is a British thing lol, but the buy me a coffee is a way of donating and it goes to PayPal I think they only take about 6% rather than the larger fees that you tube and patreon charge.

I am sitting here listening to this video more than watching as I setting up my spare storage 😊 I ordered the pre-printed stickers from you and am so pleased with them .. thank you 😊

Love ur wip & waffles! I’m so happy you and hubby branched out into the 3D printed trays, I’m so excited to try them out. I know they’ll be my new fav.

I enjoyed your WIP and chat. Your drills look so neat. I'm a one placer too. Multi placing strees me out it takes too much time for me straighten them. It takes longer to finish a painting but I enjoy it. 😉

I love your wip and waffles. I don't watch lives because they drive me crazy the way most people lose their thoughts and don't finish what they were saying. Plus the 10 minutes of hellos at the beginning are crazy...lol. I absolutely never watch replays of lives either...so this is really nice. Thank you so much for sharing!

I did cross stitch while staying home with very young baby and it continued until my boys needed more of my attention, I got pulled back into it about 3 years ago and ordered a few large pieces. They are still waiting for my attention. I'm currently packing up the house, crocheting and diamond painting. Just finished my recent DP a lovely owl that has come out really well.

I like the Buy me a coffee idea. I feel that the work and value of your videos are very helpful and would like to help in expanding your ability to to more. To me, you're not asking but people who want to support your work can help and the payback is more of your videos and the entertainment they provide. Hope that makes sense. Love a good WIP and Waffle!

I had Pfizer, too. Same as you, my arm hurt the most. A friend said they didn't heed the warnings for hydration and ended up feeling terrible because they weren't consuming enough water...I'm not a big water drinker, but I made sure to drink a couple bottles that evening. I had some fatigue (and have been dealing with insomnia for a while, so the fatigue was welcome because it helped me sleep better for several nights) and a headache after my first one, too. The worst of it was definitely the arm pain for sure. I had similar ones with my second, but my arm pain was much lower other than the first couple hours and I think that was just because the doctor was much more forceful than the gentleman that gave me my first injection...I felt like he jabbed faster and went deeper into the muscle. More headaches but less fatigue. Honestly, I'm relieved because I tend to deal with fatigue and headaches regularly anyway, so it's not like I wasn't able to manage it, lol. Glad to hear yours was good, too. 9 more days until I'm 'fully inoculated', 6 days for the husband and then we can try and take a road trip out of town as he refused to go anywhere even with very limited interaction with people/masking up until we were vaccinated. I find DAC squares are nicer than before, but they gap more than the good Ali companies. After their crappy customer service in refusing to offer reasonable accommodations in the poor quality of Mama Knows Best and another I got on markdown, I don't think I'll shop with them directly any longer but we've had a couple craft stores stock a few paintings locally and between the 2 stores, I've picked up 4 squares (I don't care for rounds) since craft stores in the US offer coupons and decent sales. From one store I got the paintings for 60% off which I can accept in spite of their poor customer service.

Have a great trip! Wear your Mask! Not everyone is vaccinating! When they found that Penicillin would cure Syphilis, some people became ill and died from an allergic reaction. There was many who believed the Doctors should be imprisoned. Yet we still give Penicillin everyday!

Buy Me a Coffe takes less precent than KZbin or Patreon and people get options on how many to buy you. I highly recommend the Buy Me a Coffee, I'm more likely to donate that way and have done for other KZbinrs 😁😁😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻☕☕☕

if you have an applaud button, people can give or not. You are not asking, we would be giving . i don't like patron because that is a monthly requirement. the applause is one time or often......whatever your friends wish to do. Many would like to say thank you to you for being a friend, even though you are far away, we feel a special bond.

Random question would the trays come with lids one day? 🤔 thank you. Something completely different I don't know if you seen but a few days ago I seen go live on craft buddy they doing customs which you upload photo you can visually see how it will turn out or how pixilated it be. I think that a real game changer and a less of guessing game. Thought I would share as I am in England too.

Thanks for the tip about Craft Buddy, I might check that out. We'll look at lids, but for now it's just the trays.

For myself, I like to give a tip/donation as a thank you for the hard work that a creator I really enjoy does. I can send a card or item but if I sent a small donation then you could use it however you wish be it save up for fun or to help build the channel as you would see fit. As far as doing a Patreon or other type of subscription based, it can be as easy as earlier access to videos, an extra video a month, voting on content ideas etc. Basically, it can be a way to have more community involvement. So, why do it with a pay wall? I have heard and it makes sense that a pay wall, even a very small one will typically keep out most negativity. That typically only the most sincere would be willing to hand over money. As far as those that may not be able to or not interested in making donations, you already have a website, FB, IG and YT comments which are free areas to ask questions and be involved in that you do respond to regularly. I hope this helps.

My Condolences on the Passing of HRH Prince Phillip. ( USA), born in 1951, now 70 years old! will miss him forever! I have had the first Pfizer shot. Arm was sore, felt a little puffy or swollen. Lasted about an hour. Second shot coming April 25.

I think you would love buy me a Coffee! Stitcherista, Danielle, has had Patreon flowers go to the buy Her a coffee, because the amount given to Patreon is higher than the Buy me a coffee.

Perhaps you could ask people to donate to a particular charity if you are uncomfortable receiving money yourself.
